Thanks for reminding me to make an appointment for new glasses.

well, 2 anyway...one is just a bike.

Megalon* it’s right there in his caption

I’d like to discuss BMW’s “Art car”.

One possible use for all those VWs

“That you think that paying someone a livable wage, paying someone enough that they don’t need to sleep in a car, or don’t need to work 80 hours a week just to pay the bills in a cramped 1-bedroom apartment, only proves what a fucking selfish worldview you have”

“He’s telling his story to make positive changes in his life”

“your own story that justifies the point of view that because you lived your life a certain way, everyone else should, too”

So let’s get this straight...

Uber has always billed their service as a way for people to make extra cash. A side hustle. Weekend money. The fact that some people opt to try to turn that into a full-time job is nobody’s problem but their own.

Depends on how you look at it. Let me put it a different way:

And whenever I feel like complaining, I remind myself that I’m young, healthy, employed, and happily married, that I have good relationships with my family and my in-laws, and that I have dozens of friends who are there for me when I need help.
