I don’t have anything against Pauly Shore, per se. But I like Richard Simmons and think he deserves a better actor to play him.

Honestly, Pauly Shore seems like the perfect person to play Richard Simmons. Compare his stoner weirdo schtick from the 90s to Richard Simmons’ onstage persona and they’re pretty damn close. If Shore can nail the off-stage gravitas that the teaser alludes to then I’m on board.

This is somewhat off topic, but did you know you have the right to deny your child basic vaccines, even if they keep getting sick over and over again? It could absolutely kill them, but that’s your right. That’s your freedom to choose.

I agree, in that an authorized biography tends to gloss over things that the estate doesn’t want in the spotlight. On the other hand, there are plenty of unauthorized biographies that include allegations without proof.
