I really wonder what’s going on at Delta. They’ve been really aggressive about enforcing mask-wearing on their flights even to the point of permanently banning people from flying on their planes and now this. Tossing Karen off the flight is one thing but an upgrade and a “Black Lives Matter” Delta pin? I’m stunned. If

That’s what they always do. They hate being ignored, and Demetria saw right through that and ignored those attempts, and like clockwork the racist just had to run her mouth and wouldn’t leave her alone, because screw that, right?

Hopefully the airlines are sharing the “disruptive passenger” lists with each other.

Jealous? No. Pissed? Yes.

I tried convincing my wife to get the 4Runner Limited- instead of the Lexus GX- we can afford either and they are pretty damn similar cars- $20k difference. Wife didn’t even want to test drive the TO-YO-TA.

THFT, with and umlaut somewhere, for extra disruption.

The intended system: Drivers turn on phone GPS, Amazon tells the nearest GPS signal a delivery is ready, driver accepts and gets paid for delivery.

I like the way you think. To take it further, just order the ladder yourself. Take the ladder. Take the shipment money. Take the phones. And then call Amazon and tell them you never got either one of your ladders.

God the fucking gig economy is trash. Late-stage capitalism leads to just some truly absurd shit.

That’s where telephone poles come from, right?

If you do it right you get the delivery fee, the item, AND the phones in the tree.

These vehicles are cursed by what they represent: poor taste and the flaunting of wealth. I think people have to really separate the cars from their buyers here.

Honestly the consumable culture we’ve created with cars is far more environmentally damaging than a 100+k SUV. A tiny percentage of the population can buy or lease this. Yet everyone and their mom seems to be able to swing a lease payment for a new Infiniti, Honda, Nissan that gets replaced every 3 years. The x5 m

caring about the environment is for the poor. After all, they will be the ones facing the brunt of climate change.

15 MPG!!! 15!!! In 2020 for a car that’s, ostensibly going to be a daily driver. Not some 5000 miles a year supercar or track day special. That’s absurd. Almost an insulting disregard for the conservation of resources and minimizing environmental impact.

5 years from now there will probably be an electric M something. For now, the only option if you need space to go with your electrified speed is the model X. My friends have an X5M and are thinking of the X as their next SUV. They are thinking this because it’s faster, not because it’s greener.

That nagging feeling is the realization that you are driving one of the ugliest vehicles ever conceived.

My first thought is along the lines of: ‘rich tasteless people should be allowed to buy the toys that make them happy. We also buy strange cars they don’t understand and that’s okay.’
