Nope you cant do that it says “car”
Nope you cant do that it says “car”
Name a car from 1977 that had a plastic intake manifold
I’ll love it for what I can do with it. It can cheaply make 400 hp yes. But I like to drag race and 400hp doesn’t cut it with the guys I compete against. So I don’t like it
Not as much as I want. I have plenty of experience with them drag racing and they will not make over 500 hp reliably. Small main caps, thin webbing, thing deck surface. They crack right in half over 500 hp. The first upgrade to a 302 to make it powerful and reliable is to swap it with a 351.
You never see these anymore
Just can’t make enough power with them. Can’t get over 500 without problems. Either the block breaks or the head gaskets don’t stop blowing.
Hate 302s and I hate the looks but you cant beat a torque-y V8 rwd with a manual for such a low price. It’s no show car but damn it looks fun
It’s really not too bad. All those parts go in line just like that. It’s simply putting things in places just like that diagram shows
Thats not even a difficult spark plug job. Try something like an F-body Camaro or a newer F150 where the spark plugs are practically under the dash

“Herb” Grinder
Yeah what does he define as Hot rod
Now remember, Whoever is writing for this needs to be somewhat competent.
Didn’t take too long for one of these idiots to show up
Oh I know...I lived there for 6 months...only been beat up and robbed in Detroit though
True however I’ve never heard it called that. Other names include: CV shaft, little drive shafts, flexi-axle things, twisty axles, etc.
My first time on Woodward avenue left me stranded in Detroit, the most dangerous city in America (I think?). A backfire had caused a huge vacuum leak and my car wouldnt idle and ran extremely lean. I had to track down a vacuum cap when all auto parts stores are closed. Ended up making my own out of a piece of…
I believe you broke a half-shaft in this article
