You can already lower Macan turbo and call it a tall wagon. Nothing stopping you, other than ponying up 80k+ of course.

So you’d rather they drive like maniacs to WF instead? But then you’d complain about that too! LOL

Come on now. I mean it’s better to turn the wheel when the car is actually moving.

Ah. I’m nowhere near as tall as you are so I didn’t think of the height concern. Didn’t know the insurance being that much of a pain for a dedicate track car. I figured it’s better to not thrash the daily driver on weekends since if it breaks down then you’re really screwed. the 991.2 GT3 is really a good advance from

Isn’t that bad for the tires (not to mention the steering rack) when the steering wheel is turned while stationary?

Yeah still a nice car agreed. Too bad they’re over 35k( or more?) for a 5-speed coupe these days. Sigh..

Wear and tear on the C7 will be markedly cheaper( though that is probably not the case in Germany), and FWIW much better off just getting an Elise or a dedicated track car. But that’s just me...

Yes, if they were aiming for a porky sports car that’s handily whooped by the cayman S *especially* with the new turbo 4 and the 911 variants. Haha puleez.

Video mentioned the movie shop vinyl wrapped Brian’s Vette than pulled a mold off that, so yeah those are definitely not metal.

No. Owning a VW just says “I’m either clueless about VW reliability or I’m a fanboy and completely ignores said reliability issue”. Which in a way is better than being a d-bag(BMW) and rich show-off who doesn’t like handling(Benz) I guess LOL

I just thought it’s kind of odd, probably nothing to it. I haven’t gone to RL for a long while, but the ones that I saw that own GT2/GT3 RS(not current gen though) that modded extensively were all doing regular track/racing, at which point they wouldn’t have gone with this shop, since no “racing shop” would do this to

Most of the parts on the GT3 RS are unique and few are shared with the “plain” GT3, so I wouldn’t be surprised they cost that much.

I really don’t see the point of modifying a 991 GT3 RS. Unless he’s one of the few ppl with driving skills so great that the stock power is not enough, it’s just bragging rights. If it’s actually meant for racing, he won’t have brought it to this place I reckon, and SCCA class for modified cars this would still be

Parts are cheap? Since when are CF body panels cheap?

Errr I hate doing bench racing but...

Okay first of all where the heck do you find RS7 ring time?

Pretty sure it is not:

Seriously, why did you buy the car even with the horrendous throttle lag? You *did* test drive the car before you bought it didn’t you?

I’d be more impressed if they built their own chassis. As it is they are still modifying what Porsche made. Yeah they did a bang up job, but most of the impressive part are the interior/exterior; The suspension tuning can be done as well if not better elsewhere. And is this safer in a crash than a 964 of the same era?

So care to explain to us why TBAL was perma-grayed last year? Unless of course me asking would also get me perma-grayed, in which case ah well.
