Picture of said brochure or you’re a big fat liar.

I’d think a cleaner design is to do a 4in1 box that collects all four port connections and just have one long cable from that to the table, then break-out from there. That’d be the way I do it, much cleaner and less likely to destroy the four ports on the console itself.

I’d go for a targa if it’s still 20k or so. For 30k I’d just go with a coupe(if they’re still at that price).

700 doesn’t sound too bad if it lasts 15-20 years :P

The motor oil is probably the least expensive part of the maintenance/repair cost. I’d be a lot more annoyed with the VANOS tuneup. Then again had I gone down that route I would’ve been expecting to spend at worst 20k or so for the next 4-5 years to keep the car running in tipt-top shape...

I had a chance to get a mint condition E39 M5 for 11k a couple years ago. That or I could save like 3-4K and get a E39 540i 6 speed. In the end I chose neither because the highway mpg being less than 20mpg made me not want to buy/take it for long trip, which it would do better at than in the back roads. If my weekend

As long as he doesn’t go into that long loud rambling while talking about sucking d!ck like he did here I think his vids are okay.

Also, that 43.5k is NOT the base price of a 5.0GT. GT can be had for 32.7k, which is not a whole lot more than the 1986 price, adjusted for inflation. Beside today’s base GT is a lot more loaded than the loaded GT of 1986.

He paid 13.5k based on 43.5k-30k(pure number crunching ignoring inflation adjusted cost), which amounts to 30k today. His kid paid 43.5k for one, doesn’t mean the GT start at that price. A quick glance at the Ford website shows it starts at 32.7k, which is 2.7k after adjusting for inflation. Hardly a huge increase.

GT price inflated just like every other car in the market. It cost 1/4 of a house back then and 1/2 as much now because the house price did not inflate/increase as much. With your gauge of price applied here in the Bay Area, houses back then or around 120k and now over 750k, so in our area GT is actually a lot cheaper

Inflation.

That’s true. I guess I still (unrealistic) expectation that a blockbuster movie these should be filmed in the actual city that it claims to be set in. I would think more often than not the pay for the actors far exceeds the location rental fee. Of course I could be totally wrong here.

Well that sucks. I thought the original ghostbuster movies were filmed in NYC. This is lame :P

Did you even read what I wrote?? The nonsense referred to the reaction time, NOT lane splitting. You need to go do some googling about reaction time based on speed. If you insist on thinking your way, hey, whatever floats your boat.

Wonder why they can’t just film it in NY instead. Don’t see the point of doing this.

Peak mpg is achieved at 55mph as has been proven by DoE years back, so at least in that regard, slowing down to less than 55mph would indeed decrease mpg. This is of course, tested on a car equipped with a ICE and without the aid of electric motor(s), which we all know increases mpg appreciably for speed less than

Reaction time while traveling at 50mph != reaction time while stationary. Please do not spout nonsense like that because some people will actually believe that’s true, as evident by the two people who liked your post.

And when that faster traffic happens to be the motorcycle it’s still the responsiblity of the car to yield right?

I just know these past few years Home Depot staff have been much more helpful and did not seem like they couldn’t care less whether I shop there or not. I have no idea if that was because if this guy’s changes or the CEO after him. Hmm.

I was doing 95 miles round-trip every day for 5 years, and I know people who do 110-120 trips 3 days a week. So when I hear people whining about commute of 60 miles round-trip being long, I say stop complaining :D .....Anyway, this is not that uncommon.
