You know Porsche will never let Cayman of any trim have more power than any 911, even the most basic one. They'll let that happen with Macan(since the cayenne is just a cash cow and not sacred to them/porsche loyalists), but not with the cayman/boxster.

I'd stick with Cayman S and not bother with the GTS. You're paying 10k more for the tiny increase in hp, PASM and that GTS badge. Heck they don't even mention suspension changes from the S other than PASM being standard.

Calm down. It still makes 10 less hp than the base carrera so the hierarchy is secure. Now 340 vs 350 for the base 911, and only 10k price difference(as opposed to 20k)!

That'd make sense if it was rear-engined(any additional grip for the rear-heavy weight bias helps), but since this is mid-engined, going for fatter arse doesn't produce as much benefit. Even the 918 is not that much larger in the rear compared to the front IIRC.
