BMWs of the old are over-engineered? If that were the case, why don't I see a lot more of the pre-90's BMWs on the road?

I would think restomod means it's restored and modified, implying at least the frame is kept but the suspension parts are new. He pretty much kept only the shell/glass, interior bits and suspension bits, and everything else is new, so technically it's not a restomod anymore?
I thought minilites originated from austin minis?
I see what you did there. M3 reference :D
Stop embarrassing Canadians you buffoon.
I'd say it's overwrought, wouldn't go as far as f'n ugly though.
Agree with you on the AM not being at the level of Ferrari/Lambo. Even their 177 has meh acceleration numbers, and the look is yet again the same old tired Ian Callum design from eons ago. The DB7 looked remarkably different from the old Vantages and truly unique when it debuted, but that was 1994!! When your halo car…
Cool thanks. I will go check out Dirtfish.
Is there something similar to this offered on the West Coast? I'd gladly go attend this, but then that means taking at least a day off (IF it's offered on weekend) which is not something I'm too keen on doing.
I drove there a few years back from monterey through Big Sur during March-April, and other than the occasional cop hiding on the side, it was pretty easy to drive at speed limit.
You can tune the CARB neutered version to 3.0l N52 so that it pretty much matches the output of the variant of N52 in the 2006 330i.
It's got the N55 with the HPFP. I'd buy it to flip, not to drive.
The 135 has the N54/55 just like the 335i. Which means you get to play the game of HPFP. Do you feel lucky? Wonder why this is not even brought up at all.
Of course I know you don't have a stake in it. So why do you care what he does with his time anyway. Me explaining this totally defeats my post in the first place. Who's the troll here anyway LOL
More like grey market not black market. But anyway, if I'm not mistaken, dealerships in Taiwan still refuses to do warranty services on these grey market cars. So these buyers take their chance. Sure they can go to independent shops, but then with how varied it is in Taiwan in terms of shop quality/integrity, it…
No cockpit view in this day and age? I don't want to feel like I'm driving a RC car. Pass.
Read on RL that someone was tracking a R8 and he had a couple of technicians with laptops to do tuning/tweaking for him. Sounds overtly complex to setup to have chances on the track...
Nothing is perfect. Period.
Well nothing is perfect, so he's right the most you could've given it is 9. Just because the scale is 1 to 10 doesn't mean anything will ever get a 10.
That's his time. So what's your stake in it?
