Perhaps thinking of ways to make more money is much more constructive...

Selling body parts? Used ones can be had for less than 45k easily....

I'd think that RR is worth quite a bit as it was, and it's a shame the car butchered to shove in the V10. I can understand doing that to something made in the 50s and up, but this is just destroying another rare(r) car.

Sounds like you didn't care for looking into buying a liberty for serious off-roading for the ~13 years that it's been in production, so why would it matter to you now that the successor is even worse off in terms of off-roading capabilities anyway?

So it's back to good old long lasting high speed pursuit? How is that better anyway?

Still plenty of W210 around today, and they don't look nearly as bad as you claim them to be.

But it's also more practical than the S2k, and doesn't have a long hood, which is not everyone's cup of tea...

The steering wheel was/is literally painful to grip. They have nasty protrusions at the 9 and 3 o'clock postion, right where one should hold the wheel. I've never driven any car and loathed holding the steering wheel. That was the worst test drive ever.

You have to deal with the VANOS on the S54 engine, which last time I checked cannot be permanently fixed without spending 2k+.

Eh. I test drove one and rode in another(both sport package) several years back and neither felt worse than my bone stock NA miata with stock wheels/tires. Not sure why people say the suspension is stiff.
