Season 2 wasn’t as good as season 1 but still enjoyable. I was willing to forgive it because of the pandemic deal. Everyone at that time was just trying to figure out for the first time how to navigate production during pandemic rules. However, I felt like the story barely moved forward until near the end.

I cancelled Netflix early last year when all the great shows started dropping off and moved to Paramount/Peacock/etc. They have arguably the worst produced programming for the price point. I rarely use my Hulu/Disney+ subscription unless I’m watching FX reruns or Star Wars shows, and I have the cheapest Paramount

Fuck Netflix already. I’ve been a subscriber for over five years. Never dipped in and out— and I’ve never been offered a discount for that. Five years steady payment and at 22.99 per month I’ll be paying DOUBLE from where I started. A 100% increase for the same algorithm nonsense being shoved down my throat. “Because

That’s disappointing to hear. Especially Allegra Edwards being underserved; she really was the series MVP.

I knew that the twist at the end of season 2 was going to be too tricky to untangle, but I’d hoped...because I really liked Nathan and Nora.

Fun fact: Willy Wonka’s golden ticket giveaway would have gotten him in a LOT of trouble.

20 years ago I worked at a UPS store, there was a couple who came in regularly to send off all their contest entries. That’s what they did for a living, and scarily it worked. I remember that as the first time I understood the whole “no purchase necessary” thing.

This reminds me of the time I was on Jeopardy. I was there, to match my intellect, on national TV against a plumber and an architect, both with a Ph.D. I was tense, I was nervous. I guess it just wasn’t my night.

I understand the legalities, but it’s also 2023. I went to reeses.com and the sweepstakes entry is right there.

Former broadcaster - lottery rules are incredibly specific and prohibitive. There has to be a way to enter a contest without purchasing anything or it IS A LOTTERY. Most companies provide a tear off entry - or explanation of how to enter - beyond purchasing to get around this. Unless they do, they’re in violation of

So it's Kinja Comment Stars for restaurants. I'm sure that will be fine.

Yelp and Google work because a good review, an honest review, is pretty damn easy to tell from the fake or nonsense ones.  Having a score should go away - just have the sites use a randomly generated list of reviews for people to work through that can have their individual scores.  Compiling scores is meaningless.

“Non-vegan sugar” is actually a thing, because some sugar is treated with cow bone char as part of a carbon purification process. I’m under the impression that it’s kind of a dying practice, but unless it’s organic, certified vegan, or they have disclosed their practices one way or another, you can’t really know. That

We heard thousands. It went on for six months.”

“They’re just not comfortable with littering.”

I’m sure based on history and how they handled the voice change for Solar Opposites, Rick and Morty fans will focus on what really matters, the writing, and will take the new voices in stride and positively.

And had I not known there was any change, I wouldn’t have been able to tell from last night’s episode.

“They just brought this show 30 more years,”

At Dan’s, they ask if you want mayo, oil, vinegar, lettuce, tomato, onion, salt, pepper, or oregano.
