Getting off Facebook during the 2016 elections is one of those choices that I’ve never regretted.

A new challenger approaches?

I was just thinking about Recess The Movie the other day. I remember the plot involving a tractor beam pulling the Moon closer to the Earth so that it would always be so snowy and cold that there would be no more recess or something.  Man oh man the things that entertained us as children...

The ESPN broadcast for this will be unbearable.  They love to hype this as one of the sports great rivalries while as Giri pointed out, it is really one of the sports most entertaining bloodbaths. I may not always be Serena’s biggest fan, but I absolutely loathe Sharapova.

Throughout Legend of the Galactic Heroes there are something like three or four calendars referenced as the series goes on. 

I would fully support any movie that reminded Christians that the early church just ripped off the Roman holiday Saturnalia.

This show is just so damn pleasant and the characters are so wonderfully relatable.

One time I was coming up to an intersection at the same time as a mail man. We look at each other and he waves me through. As soon as I’m in front of him he started to go and only stopped as soon as I started screaming at him.  It remains the closest I’ve come to attacking a stranger. People really do suck.

That remains one of the most unintentionally sad openings of a profile that I’ve ever read.

I love even more how there’s now a sizzle reel for the trailer I’m about to watch.

Don’t blame him for being saddled with all of Zach Snyder’s crap.
