God dammit Stephen I love this site and the way you work. But this one post isn't going to cut it, I don't trust this place any more. It's a sad paranoia that I'm going to continue to have for a while. The fact Nathan is still there worries me. One can still spread bias behind the scenes (as someone who dealt with the…
It's an issue with journalism. Journalists are supposed to be impartial, unbiased sources of information. Sleeping with someone you're reporting about is absolutely going to alter how you cover any news related to them.
A gaming news site, commenting on a recent scandal involving improper conduct with gaming journalists. Handled quite professionally by the author here. What's the problem?
Amazing - that car was actually using a signal whilst making a lane change.
It's Notre Dame. This will blow over just like a scissor lift.
Stanley was confronted by a ghost. He had seen the ghost before, time and time again. Stanley had long since lost his fear of the ghost and just wondered why he couldn't grab the keys by the front entrance and walk out of the house. Stanley stood there and pondered this for a moment and decided to reset the hallway…
Jack Donaghy won't sleep on planes either. But..because he doesn't want to get incepted.
I respect your opinion, but I have to categorically and emphatically disagree with you. One of the biggest, most important recurring thematic elements of Silent Hill is that it's a series of games that are about the protagonist. The mental state of the protagonist influences the world around them, and the…
revealing clothing means he hates chicks? makes no sense
Final note: Turns out your former All-Pro safety is an alleged serial rapist. So that's fun.
Yet here you are replying to me. Way to show you have no interest in me. You are batting a .1000 for failure. And by the way I have never read any of his books nor have I seen more than one episode of his show. You are just a simpleton with nothing better to do then being outraged over nothing. Go ahead, prove you…
Yeah, GRRM's underlying message in this series is really progressive, in a lot of ways. Does Lindy seriously want a token gay POV for the sake of having a fucking token gay sex scene? Jesus Christ. Besides, there IS a gay POV but he isn't sexually active. Shows what kind of fan Lindy is. A CASUAL ONE.
Where, exactly, in my comment, am I telling you or anyone not to comment or complain? It's not even implicit in any of my assertions.
Ohhhhhh. Look at all the hate and anger for nothing. F me F that go launch yourself to the fing sun. Did writing that drivel make you feel as stupid as it made me feel reading it? It must have.
Hi, homosexual male here.
Thank you for this. There is more than enough to worry about with the plot, the characters, the style, the tone, the dialogue, the morals - intended and unintended, without having to worry about pleasing every special interest group out there.
I agree. Lots of books don't have gay characters, or female characters, or black characters, or Asian characters, or male characters, or trans characters, or (x) characters). Since when do we get to tell artists what their works must contain?
He's a fiction writer.
I kind of hate how people are trying to tell him how the story should go (not necessarily this instance, but in general). Make your own book/movie series, then you can control what's going on. Stay out of his mind.
