What makes me incredibly conflicted is that I grew up playing Doom and Mortal Kombat as a kid. Both M-rated by that period's standards.

What makes me upset is not the mudslinging between Battlefield and Modern Warfare, but the schoolchildren who'll argue over a M-rated game that they shouldn't be playing in the first place.

Why can't all these wonderful rip-offs appear on another system as well? I have an iphone. And trying to play NOVA was IMPOSSIBLE! My fingers just cover too much screen!

I like the Dragon Quest Monsters games because each monster was expendable. That Dracky you got? Forget love! You raised it to battle! Now breed with this other monster! WUAH HAHAHA!

I made that statement because it happened. It's an event in time where they used a kill switch. That means they have it. 5 months ago, Sony lost millions of credit cards to hackers. During that period of time, have they proven to the people that their system is well protected beyond a reasonable doubt?

I feel bad that you just got surrounded by Bioware fanboys. I knew Old Republic wasn't going to be revolutionary. You've opened my eyes. And that's what counts. Not those jerks who'll defend to the death how great Mass Effect's mining game was.

That's not true. It's more of a cycle. You need a strong game, to build a strong community, to have a strong game...

REALLY?! Is there already reviews out? I thought this game was highly anticipated. Please send links!

I should have been more specific. Pixar story good.

They have a history of releasing updates that brick systems.

I don't know how old you are, but I've done a lot of traveling, to a lot of different cities. You can argue all you want about police and how they act around your way all you want with me, I will accept it for whatever you think it's worth.

These Professor Layton videos always make me shed a tiny tear in my eye. I haven't seen the animations, but I hope it's good. Pixar good. (And yes - I did cry during the first 10 minutes of Up.)

Most of the text from Oblivion came straight from Morrowind.

I rather blame Team Ninja. Retro Studios had a Nintendo lackey breathing down their neck, and their games are awesome. Way to point fingers.

So what you're telling me is that because of your local police department, all police officers are like that?

Check your local suburbs or cul-de-sac, where everybody knows each other. Or visit a small town. These communities are very ingrained with each other. They're there, my friend.

Wait, you just generalized the internet.

If the game is good enough for a 2 million dollar competition, then the game is good enough for the world. And with all the updates... I'm drooling!

Steam has offline mode. Good.

Thanks for doing the research, Crecente. If you can have smooth gameplay for an hour via 3G, then I sort of think it's not THAT bad. It's probably sending little packets just to compare your character with the server and back, to defend against cheats/hacks.
