What about stolen iphones? Gamestop already has a history of buying stolen games. And iphones (in fact, any phone) are easily misplaced and stolen.

Of course you're not using baby making as a money scheme. But if you had 2 kids, might as well go the extra mile and get that sweet money in the bank. You can even name your kid '$26,000'.
I'm looking forward to this. I've always wanted to be into Minecraft, but I was never a kid who liked legos. There's no purpose, no required tasks! I need structure and goals! :O
I'm kind of like this, only instead of waiting the extra few days, I'll happily wait months. I've never bought a PC game on Day 1 and been completely happy. Always bugs to be fixed.
$26 THOUSAND?! I don't have any children, and I don't know how difficult it would be to pop out 3 babies, but $26,000 seems like a really great initiative for making that happen.
Cause I just want to play the game! And Steam lets me.
UMMM... no? DRM hinders the buyers, the customers, the fans - not the thieves.
I found my old Gameboy Pocket, a neon-green with a transparent case. It was so sexy, so... visually striking... I look at my cold iphone and my bland DSlite. Sigh...
I think it'll steal away all the Monster Hunter fans, and there's a lot of them in Japan. But that's about it. It won't penetrate the West anytime soon.
Nope. In Philadelphia, it's Dial-up, Verizon, or Comcast. I wanted to switch to Verizon's FIOS, but the costs for a full year outweighed 2 years at Comcast, not to mention the speed wasn't as consistent.
I definitely think Steam is playing the waiting game. They want to see if Origin will fail or not. Origin might have legs to stand on, since it's REQUIRED for the Old Republic. That MMO is going to attract at least a million people.
Steam is cool with it. Games for Windows Live has been clogging up the upstairs toilets for years.
This. This is what's wrong with America. People say, "Oh, if you hate them so much, then CHANGE it." Change to WHAT? Just like presidential elections, we're always forced to choose between the lesser of two evils.
I've met a lot of gamers who has never beat Oblivion. They'd put in 100 hours and just get too exhausted to go the extra mile. It's my belief that the ending doesn't even matter to most people. Heck, they could put the Umpa dance at the end - most people would never even see it.
It's always been like that for ANY PC game, since the dawn of modding.
Rockstar still owns the rights to LA Noire. So they'll definitely make a LA Noire 2.
In the end, it's all about money.
This sounds like a very positive way of saying 'Always Online'. How will that data be transferred? Does Borderlands 2 require me to be online all the time in order to send that data back to Gearbox?
I know right? Sun > Moon. Cats > Dogs. Summer > Fall.
