Ha! Good! You were skeptical, but now you're into Skyrim. That was the whole purpose of this conversation. :)

I made a lot of assumptions because you sort of bashed the core mechanics. But since you liked Morrowind and Daggerfall, then Skyrim might be good for you.

The original PS3 couldn't play PS1 games. And the DS couldn't play GB games. The Gamecube is 2 generations behind as well.

Then hold onto your Wii.

There was a winner. A huge winner. Skyrim! Everybody should just pack up. :)

I don't think this game is for you. And those three mechanics are pretty much a solid piece of the Elder Scrolls series. Sure, there's some minor tweaks here and there, but don't expect a God of War battle system with a World of Warcraft world and a Final Fantasy leveling.

DUUUUH WHERES HORSE ARMOR?! DUUUUH NEED A DRAGON POUCH AT A DRAGON STORE DUUUUH?!

Was never laggy for me. Maybe when you first tried it out, but I never had a issue.

It's steaming video. If data caps are concerned, Netflix and Hulu will fail waaaaaaaay before OnLive does.

The Sony attacks would have been much smaller if only 7 people were involved.

So how about the part where he apologizes on behalf of Sony for being a such a douche to hackers who just wanted Other OS?

I also am a avid reader of Slashdot, which had the same story. And after comparing the comments of both Slashdot and Kotaku - Kotaku readers are just so... ignorant. It's really sad that some posts, the comments looks like a youtube wall. It's just layers of 'Fuck this' and 'Hackers suxxors' that.

Is hating the opposite of fanboy? I just think XIII sucked. Don't know if that makes me a hater.

PSN Subscribers would probably pay 50 a year to avoid the headaches they've been receiving.

You're right about the 30%. But your math is wrong. With steam, if you pay $60, Valve gets $18.

Check out Zeno Clash.

If you really need to get your console gaming on, get one of those street fighter joysticks. Or maybe now it's time to fall in love with touch-screen or PC gaming. Since you have a 3DS, you can always play Zelda using the touch screen. A lot of those games FORCE touch screen on you, which works in your favor.

I'm with you! My life is so busy that I visit Kotaku and make snarky comments.

I wish there was a thumbs up button. You deserve it.

The only fault I had with Metro 2033 was the feel of the gunplay. It felt very heavy - very slow. Maybe it was because I played Metro 2033 after I beat Bioshock 2, where everything is clicky and fast.
