I do not believe Randy to be a pedophile, and now want to frequent the same magic shows as him.

Randy regularly hosts events at his house. He has a theater called The Peacock in which he hosts variety shows, magic shows, comedy, a wide variety of things. I’d be incredibly shocked if the events described in the lawsuit are true given the types of events that are normally hosted there. 

Pitchford may be a big personality but by all accounts he’s a very friendly and caring human.  (Even if the magic tricks...c’mon man)  A vile thing to imply/accuse someone of and I have the greatest difficulty seeing the merit.

A rush to judgment? On the internet? No way.

This should not have come out in a lawsuit - they should have gone straight to the police like a regular human being - and I have to hope the police investigate the lawyer just as thoroughly. All of this is goddamn bizarre and fishy. Revolting either way, but extremely fishy.

I generally think Pitchford is a charlatan, but the child pornography allegation just doesn’t ring true at all here, especially the way it’s presented as an afterthought just to get in one more jab. This Callender guy is just coming off as desperate and petty, willing to say anything to sway opinion.

I know nothing about this but here’s some extreme speculation:

I just hate that he generates so much vitriol from the wrong kind of people such that any criticism of him gets conflated with pretty hateful comments from the gamergate types.
