Enlightened got Emmy nods at least. Looking couldn't even get that (I think Groff could have gotten a nod in less competitive years).

After the first two episodes, I bailed. I came back once hearing better buzz, but I admit to thinking it was so boring at first and somewhat expected it to be the gay man's real Sex and the City where Patrick would actually date around instead of falling hard for two guys.

What made him work was he was always so quiet while Patrick rambled on and on that his soft spoken words made you want to melt into his eyes.

Tyne Daly was so lovely as she usually is, she might be the only one to get a nod, especially if there's another American Crime Story mini-series that hogs all the nomination slots like this year (most deserved though). Daly has gotten many nominations in the past, but Ellen Burnstyn is the one that seems to be

I would like to think a season 3 would have fleshed out so many of the story ideas in the film. I would have liked an episode devoted solely to Richie and Brady's rocky relationship with Patrick on the periphery (he'd be back after Augustin's wedding, back at his job and sleeping around). It would have hopefully

I got hooked on Days thanks to Mom in the early 90s, then "watched it for her" when she went off to work in the summer months until she didn't care about the show anymore and I was clearly watching it for myself. I was in college during the New Salem/massive purge year and remember when they killed off Abe and Jack

Kristen as 2 or 3? different characters at one point too! It went insane when they killed off almost everyone, only to have them reappear on "New Salem" island.

That decade was so much fun on DOOL with Carly getting buried alive, Marlena's possession, Kate vs Vivian, Sami sleeping with Austin…

Support for Serial comes from Mail Chimp, from Mail Chimp, Mail…Kimp. Chimp?

I personally enjoyed the little fucker getting stabbed by a kid and eventually incinerated, but now I feel guilty for my bloodlust for such a minor character. RIP Margarey Tyrell, you didn't deserve that green death. At least your death gave Oleana a chance to shut down the Dorne idiots repeatedly.

I dunno, I enjoyed it thoroughly, but I'm a fan of Real Housewives shows, especially the reunion shows and the clip packages were pretty entertaining summaries of her bits over the years. I know Amy is a fan of Bravo and both she and Bridget have appeared on WWHL a few times, so I can confirm they had the editing,

The first few episodes of the season were not great, but it's a relief that the latter half of the season have had funnier/more consistent material. I also skipped of Bridget Everett's annual song to the crowd and thought Amy was lip syncing at first (with Bridget ready to come out to finish the song, which I would

Me when Arya is wandering around town after getting stabbed in her stomach…
"Gendry, Gendry, Gendry, come on and save her! Gendry, Gendry, Gendry…"

I didn't know it until my friend watching it with me brought it up.

At the least the mom from the Babadook got decent work as the Cersei actress.

For the past 3 years, I've expected Kenan to do one last "What's Up With That" sketch and be done with SNL. Since Sudeikis and Sandberg were back, I thought it would be the last sketch of the night. It was nice to see the cast (and guests) singing together at the end, but not what I expected.

"It feels less like building and more like redundancy, bringing back conflict—some of which has already been resolved—for the sake of heightening the drama of this episode."

Sol apparently was lying about being faithful for decades, so it's not really surprising he'd keep lying about the painting too.

Lily and Jane were on the Today show and confirmed they were already filming the third season too.

As a gay man, I've fucked a few bears thankyouverymuch.
