I just watched it and had no idea Dolph was in it. It's not much of a spoiler, but his character is the one Channing briefly salutes close to the end of the movie (you'll know it when you see it).

I loved the build up to it to as well. Wish Jumbo's face just visible enough to act as the audience, watching Margulies' impending meltdown while throwing laundry into the dryer.
For the next column…Avatar: What Happened With That Piece of Crap that Used to be the Highest Grossing Movie of All Time?
You know, they actually do this for the technical awards. For Makeup/Hair-styling, Foreign Language, Visual Effects and a few others, they narrow it down to 7-14 pre-nominees. They should be able to do this for the acting/directing awards too (although the critics and guild awards essentially try to do this for them…
Speaking of yellow people, they didn't nominate The Simpsons Movie either.
Also, deformed blob children feeding themselves what looked like gruel.
I think Che started chuckling after the bleak silence too. I do like Jones sometimes, but her Update monologues are tiring now.
Good to see Jean Claude Van Damme getting work again.
"Yeah"

That was actually dialogue from season 5 I think.
Episode 4 was the first time I stopped listening before the episode was over (I gave up after 40 minutes I think). I vaguely recall something about Interpol and how they couldn't help, the two lady NSA types that couldn't talk about his case directly, and the guy that made a video about how Bergdahl was screwed or…
I think once the mute aspect of his character was resolved after seven seasons (?), his character was at least not embarrassing. However, I've given up on the show to know if his recent girlfriend storylines are "fine" or not.
Is it? I couldn't get past Kevin Spacey's Foghorn Leghorn accent in the first scene, so I've never watched to know.
Macbeth has always been my favorite Shakespeare play and as often as Hamlet and Romeo & Juliet get movie adaptations/remakes, I have wondered why Macbeth doesn't get the same treatment. I'll take a newer adaptation that might not be great over yet another retread of R&J. I've also always wanted a Macbeth adaptation…
They need new material for their 2/3 hour Christmas specials they run each year of old holiday sketches.
I hope they wouldn't go for a comedy musical since any time The Wiz attempted a joke, it fell flat with no audience to laugh along. There's something different about comedy jokes in a film versus a live show with no audience.
I think of all of those choices, West Side Story is the only one that would make sense. Into the Woods and Annie had recent movie adaptations, so I doubt they'd go with those. Bye Bye Birdie, Oklahoma, and 7 Brides seem too old and I hope NBC would go with a more contemporary choice (sure WSS came out in the 50s,…
Since I'm friends with a few African American lesbians on Facebook, Queen Latifah's first appearance as The Wiz certainly got them going last night.
Probably because it's on Fox and the cast seems a bit questionable if not carbon copy of NBC's casting choices for their musicals.
What I got from that was that they seemed the same as always, yet hadn't had sex in a month. So I'd assume that they rarely had sex at all throughout the series, which is somewhat plausible for couples that have been together for a long time. However, I get the sense that the two of them rarely had sex (with each…
I think it proves the show would be better with a shorter season. This episode could have been one or two episodes ago along with a quick reveal of John being the killer. Each season I bail somewhere in the middle and I'm ready to bail now.
Suggestions on fixing Modern Family and how stale it's become (or has been for four seasons maybe?):
1. Jay dies. Wouldn't it be interesting to see the family dynamics change as Gloria eventually starts dating others, contemplates taking over the business from Claire, Manny feeling alienated from his new family while…
