Yes, yes, Obama was relentlessly surface level. When GDP was in decline and the unemployment rate was over 10%, turning the economy around and bringing unemployment under 5% was surface level stuff.

They aren’t compressed in the sense that data is not thrown away to reduce the file size. The sampling rate and accuracy are certainly lower then DVD or other hi res like digital masters. But none of those ever made into mainstream consumer electronics that I can afford and easily use. I’m also not sure I could tell…
