Fucking clap the fuck out of my hands. Cecilia this is an amazing piece! Love everything on it, all the way down to what drove this investigation.
Being in the tech industry myself, I have seen firsthand the lack of women in the field, how most of them are relegated, and relegate themselves to QA jobs. I saw it at…
Haven’t finished the episode, but so far, it’s been really interesting.
But what I can say is that I love the new logo. Keep the good work guys
This is awesome. Nintendo is definitely looking into cultivating the creativity of the kids, and including this functionality, introducing them to the world of programming is at a short age will be amazing!
I’m learning a lot today :)
I see! I wasn’t fallowing this kind of awards that far back, but I’m glad he has been recognized as he should! Thanks for the info, Chris!
I’ve often wondered why in this kind of awards we have never seen (that i’m aware...) someone from Nintendo recognized (other than Iwata’s passing). I’m glad this is happening, Takeda built my entire childhood, and I wouldn’t be where I am without those Nintendo Systems. <3
Hopefully, Miyamoto’s turn will soon come.
a technicality saved him this time around
Bungie did not cancel the game.
Apparently none of the dev will lose their jobs, so that’s cool, and also the refunds are a great move that I’ve never seen anyone really do, a lot of people spent a lot of money on the game, so its good to hear it wasn’t all for nothing
agree, and sure March 2019 sounds like a long way from now, but we don’t know the scope of this game. As for how Jason is reporting the sorty, and how I understood it, is that the sources feel pressured to finish by then, and not necessarily feel like it’s going to happen. Let’s hope the crunch isn’t that bad for this…
Another fascinating and complicated story, Jason. It’s amazing to learn about the trials and tribulations that game development, specially, “live” games go through. I hope this helps to keep everyone expectations about Anthem floored.
We have seen in the last couple years how companies really hype an ok game, read…
I actually just thought that when they say “Joy-Con Support”, of course the first thing I thought was “ugh..motion controls” But what if you could control each character with each Joy-Con. That would be an interesting take, and keeping the “special sauce” that the DS game had.
I wonder if the charm is lost without having to divide what you do in the top/bottom screens and splitting the controls?
We have our shot at a TWEWY sequel people! don’t mess it up and buy buy buy!!!
Your switch and ps4 and crying now
I hope this kind of posts encourages Kotaku younglings to always use protection...
yup, it’s going to be hell in Mexico, it’s like that Terminator 2 scene, waiting for the heatwave to vaporize us all
Well, Kallie did said that their boss didn’t handle the situation accordingly and told her to suck it up. Although I agree that the problem steams from HR and management (lack of training, specifying toxic behavior, etc).
I hope you are right, but at the same time, wrong. If it’s true that someone used it to advance…
