Last year a friend of mine bought a square body Blazer. It needs some work but he’s a mechanic. He spent $40K and figures it was too expensive.
Everybody knows what you got. ;)
But it was 1 of only 35,000 made that year with a white exterior and a grey interior!
Gt300?
I will also be “that guy” since I’ve been saying this more or less for the last 10 years.
I haven’t been this excited about NASCAR in years. I’ve been internally begging for more road courses for years so dirt Bristol, combined with the Road America and COTA announcements is perfect. It also looks like the Indy road course is permanent as well.
I would probably pay good money for a like new Fiat 131 Supermirafiori like the one I had in HS.
Especially now that they’re running Mustangs and Camaros, you actually have V8 base cars (unlike the Fusions or Luminas of the past). It would also force Toyota to stuff a V8 into something smaller than a truck.
/cracks open a beer
Dirt track racing and going back to their roots sounds great!
84.5K for a brown Squarebody Chevy? I know it’s low mileage but wow.
If you want the best, you need to pay for it. Earlier this summer I decided I had had enough of my Fiata, and wanted a more comfortable convertible. I settled on a BMW 1-series. Not a lot of them around, especially with sticks. And I did NOT want a project in any way, shape, or form. I wanted perfection, and I was…
“Almost impossible” implies there are only a handful left. I’m telling you that’s wrong. A better way to phrase it is; “it’s difficult”.
Mileage matters, but it’s never been a factor when determining the value of a 240. A car with 300k miles will sell for the same amount as a car with 100k miles.
I spent $750 on a 1989 Cavalier. Which was probably wildly overmarket.
A. I didn’t see if it was fake or not, but there’s probably plenty of people who think it’s real.
B. Clean 560SEC’s are usually around 10-14K, idk where you’re getting this $4K unless you’re talking about a complete fixer.
the market seems to be around there (again, for the real thing)
fail, I need you to mark it down to $69,420 before I’d consider it
At that price you might as well buy one SEC and 10 more for parts cars.
15k No Tire Kickers, I know what I got
Why? You can buy one for $25K, unless you really really like the fake AMG bodykit. Even rebuilding the engine - and let’s be honest, who knows how well this car had it done - and reupholstering is unlikely to do more than double that number.
