Two bus stops???  Daytona Transit doesn’t mess around.

The original R53 was a good deal ($19k), considering the raw feel and quirkiness. The JCW was never a good deal ($7k for 37HP), and the GP was kind of absurd when you consider what you could do with the same money in the aftermarket. It was, however, cool AF.

Seems like a good time to dust this one off:

TFA doesn’t mention it, but I am 100% sure the car buyer was a white guy. If it had been a POC the Laredo Sherriff’s Department would have sprained their wrists patting themselves on the back over their, “massive drug bust.”

The sad thing is...I think they actually have improved. I think their problem is that their improvement is only at or just above the reliability inflation index.

Hookers and coke dealers need a basic living wage.

Ok Boomer.

I agree that it is not ugly. It is also not beautiful. I’d say its striking, and different.

Truck buyers are a very particular set with very particular needs and tastes, and they tend to skew more conservative (in terms of general buying tastes, not politics, though that may also be true to some degree) than shoppers in other segments.

Boomers deserve every bit of ridicule that can be thrown at them.

Cool, I was wondering where those new articles on Deadspin were coming from.

I remember my old Mercedes and my old Volvo both having manuals that said that — in the Volvo’s case the manual noted that locking the door doesn’t in any way make the latch mechanism more secure.

Literally every vehicle launched goes through these growing pains. Some more than others depending on the situation (i.e. amount of change, speed they roll out the launch, etc). I would never buy a first model year vehicle for that reason. It’s really 3 possible issues for initial quality, Engineering issues, Supplier

That should happen everywhere. Consider yourself ahead of the curve.

None of them actually want to build EV’s. It cuts into their short term revenue. It’s by design.

VW DIESELS ALSO RATED #1 CLEANEST DIESELS IN SAME GERMAN TEST

Peterson finished with 118 yards rushing on 23 carries, and he fumbled on the two yard line

Of course, no debate about that. But let’s be honest, you, me and everyone else out here probably have a million products in our homes that are made in China’, mainly because they’re cheap. Are we so different?

My tin-hat theory is that the NFL will not allow the Lions to win until they give back the Thanksgiving game so that the NFL can have it in a bigger market.

Ah, the megahertz myth is alive and well, I see. A modern Intel CPU has around one and a half billion transistors, and the Apple II’s 6502 process had three and a half thousand. That’s around 400,000 times more transistors.
