“Intent to commit an environmental crime” in Texas.

Jaywalking is probably a far more severe offense in oilland.

OK, so is there an inspection service you can use on used or even new RVs?

This entire thing tells me it is ripe for disruption. With the housing crisis everywhere, electric drivetrains, solar panels, starlink/5G, I think vanlife will go into overdrive at some point.

Seriously, if EV drivetrains fall to 50% of an ICE

Numerous studies have shown additional lanes offer substantially diminishing returns in traffic throughput under most stress conditions except, possibly the worst: stop and go traffic jam. Adding a lane to a single lane road does not double the traffic throughput, going from two to three does not add 50%.

And extra

YOU ARE A SHITHEAD WHO HAS ADVOCATED THIS BEHAVIOR IN THE PAST.

That shows repeated premeditation.

Of course he’s white and 17, not black and 13, and it’s fucking Texas, so he won’t get upped to an adult.

He should never ever ever ever ever be permitted to drive. His parents should be stripped of driving privileges.

Go fucking storm the senate, you moron.

In defense of these people:

520 mile range:
- becomes 450 at 80mph cruising
- becomes 420 with heavy AC or heat
- becomes 390 with cold temperatures
- becomes 350 since you don’t want to charge the battery fully since that’s bad for endurance
- becomes 320 after five years and some loss of efficiency/capacity

And then

Nothing shows the disdain for Tesla by general ICE media and specifically Jalopnik.

You breathlessly eat up and carry water for every BMW performance adjective in existence. Then Tesla embarrasses your entire game with this car.

What do you do?

Say the “game isn’t fun anymore”, take all your toys, go home, pout.

What’s the #1 job in most states? Truck driving.

What’s the lowest hanging fruit and heavy focus of research and development? Automated driving for trucks on highways.

I predict what will happen in the intermediate is a train model where a lead truck shephards a 4-10 other trucks on highways. Then you can do

All german luxury cars are vastly overrated. They are status monikers, and that’s about it.

“it drives fine” is willful ignorance.

A good EV is a driving experience utterly different than an ICE. In a good, smooth, quiet, responsive, zippy way.

The “throaty warble” crowd will just plug their ears, but the Tesla is a fundamentally better consumer driving experience.

This isn’t the future of motorhomes.

This is the future of homes. Imagine a self-driving EV of one of these. And it has a fold-out solar array for when it’s parked (aka “an awning”). Satellite internet.

“But where will I put my crap”

Now imagine a service where you have a mobile storage unit that can be delivered on

Same for you posting this from your phone while driving?

In NYC, and I’m someone who thinks Shilling is one of the biggest idiots on this site, but IN NYC: he’s right.

Airlines and Ships will probably require synthetic carbon-neutral fuels. That will of course only happen with a proper carbon tax on dirt-sourced fuel, which is verrrryyyy slowly coming into possibility.

Of course a proper carbon tax would also change the economics of making things 5000 miles away with slave labor and

Jalopnik, long time hater of the EV, thinks 50% by 2030 is weak? Well, you have been changing your tune over the last couple months. People can change?

#AutomaticProblems

Without an in-depth dissertation on the anticipated battery technology, this is all projection. Is this the usual solid state prayer, where a much smaller and safer solid state (and currently nonexistent) battery alters the rocket equation and weight of the vehicle to achieve this?

Because the physics are pretty basic:

Holy shit, I skimmed the normal Tesla hate, but that is so ignorant of economics and business that ... well, it’s the usual reality and rationality warping hatred from this site.

Dealers are assholes, but raising prices is just business.

First of all, there’s inflation. Second of all, this is THE market to raise prices

It all sounds great, but consider that puts Mercedes about 5-10 years behind Tesla. Oh, you’re doing that NOW. Well, hope you win the war of the also-rans.
