Isn’t it kind of ironic that this guy complains that the protesters are ‘lackeys’ yet forces his kids to be his ideological lackeys if they want to keep living with their parents.

Yes in this day and age. You’ve heard of our Lord and Saviour the Nintendo Switch I reckon? Nintendo has always been a beacon of couch co-op. Even the PC has more and more local co-op games.

Can I uh, just get this and a second Black Dynamite? That’d be real nice thank you.

I mean this is the movie version of the book that is just a series of pop-culture references.

Funny, I actually loved how abstract and dreamlike it was, considering it’s a first-hand experience of an area that’s effectively Terra Nullis. It really makes the whole affair seem alien, truly alien in a way that few works of sci-fi dare to do. It’s like the Uncanny Valley in written form. Any other style would’ve

Honestly, that’s already too much for me to feel comfortable around. But I reckon it differs between music scenes as well. I mean, I love stoner rock, so, yeah. But honestly it’s drunk people as well, I don’t much fancy being around drunk people any more either. The grossness too. Every now and then I have to catch a

I can’t deny, drugs are definitely one of the reasons why I as a consumer of music don’t want to go to things like festivals. I’m not against them as such, but I don’t like to use them and don’t want to be around high people. And considering a decent portion of my musical taste overlaps with a druggy live culture I

Fair enough. I’ve got that too, but I’ve learned to be content with chipping away at large games. I think it took me a year and a half to finish The Witcher 3, and I was okay with that.

If it’s a consolation, you can get a 2nd-hand PS4 for relatively cheap these days, and a lot of good games for cheap too. I got a week or so ago and it’s been totally worth it. There’s a whole lot more than RDR2 to be found.

I’ll admit, the shower really is one of the best places to do brooding. There really is a lot of thinking being done between lathering and rinsing.

“Outrage” is just another word in the long line of conversation-stopper terms. It’s so easy to dismiss criticism if you simply call it outrage, implying that it’s an unreasonable outburst of negative emotion. Of course that’s not what’s going on in this article, but once that shadow has been cast over a work of

“I mean, there’s just no way women could fuck up things like us guys do.”

Hot damn that game is like “What if Donkey Konga was actually really awesome and not wimpy with a weird selection of songs.” I need that in my life, seems like an amazing stress reliever.

It doesn’t really ‘bring it up’ though, does it? It only shows us a racist character. Racism as such isn’t a theme in the movie. Rockwell’s character is just a fuckhead. Honestly if I gleam your posts in this thread a little it seems that you seem to think in a rather one-dimensional way as to what a film can and/or

A violent, racist asshole who’s possibly on his way to become a murderer as well. There was no redemption. This wasn’t a grande movie in that regard. At best there was some newfound mutual understanding between two characters. Both rather fucked up characters, albeit in different ways.

I adored everything in that demo...except the random battles. I suppose Chrono Trigger and Secret Of Mana spoiled me recently, and even thanks to Pokemon I expect better. It just made me go “Ehhhhhhhh” so much that I’m still in doubt whether I’m actually going to get it. But everything else about it is so great.

It reminds me of Serial Cleaner a lot, a fun, stylised little stealth puzzler. So if you want something like this to bridge the gap from now to Goose Game that might fit the bill. I’m keeping my fingers crossed Goose Game is going to come out on the Switch, most definitely.

Pity it misses the entire cyberpunk part of Shadowrun though.

Everything has coded messages though, hidden or not. Why? Because that’s how media and culture works. We give material objects meaning through social practice. This movie is no different in that regard. Like, yes you’re not wrong that a story is a story, but the point of a story is to convey something. And what’s

It’s funny how that dynamic works way better in the Shadowrun universe, but I suppose that’s also because there’s a fascistic “We’re the superior race” mentality in the elves there. I mean they even created ethno-states in Ireland and North America. I reckon that double layer isn’t in Bright then?
