I think a lot of her critics haven’t actually read her book. And fair enough - I don’t read books just to verify they suck as much as I think they will. But I also don’t go around saying they suck. Just that I figure they do.

She isn’t a minimalist as much as wanting your home tidy and organized so it sparks joy. If books spark joy, have them! Her method is more like gardening of getting rid of the weeds in your life to just have the good things left.
