And Andor!

my current Star Wars hot take (esp after watching the prequels) is there’s too much exposure to the Jedi. They’re overpowered, and too self-serious. It’s like reading Lord of the Rings, finding Gandalf to be awesome (correctly), and then making all subsequent Middle Earth media about groups, councils, cities of

Between Furiosa and The Fall Guy getting rave reviews yet disappointing in the box office it may be time to admit that the movies themselves are not the problem. It’s the theater experience, which a LOT of people complain about between the cost and inconvenience. There’s a lot of talk about how these movies failed but

Luca rules fight me.

And hell, Monsters University was perfectly entertaining, even if not as good as the first one had been.

Down.

Always thought it was weird people criticized SSM as like an actual scientific experiment when it’s pretty clear it was gonzo journalism. I’m not the biggest fan or detractor, but I think it’s disingenuous to act like he was doing a controlled experiment, and it actually did have an impact on the food industry, I

I saw the twitter dunking and it was mostly being made by people who weren’t even alive in ‘04 when Super Size Me came out. Even at it’s release ‘Oh wow guy eats nothing but Mcdonald’s and gets fat stop the presses’ was a wide criticism of the films concept. But at the time it was pretty hard to know what was being

If not one review of this movie is titled “Atlas? Shrug.” I swear I’ll need to become some movie website’s logline editor.

I loved the tidbit in there about how you can almost always spot a paid Disney influencer shill because Disney makes them awkwardly use the exact names for all the attractions and park. It’s not “Star Wars Land” at “Disney World”, it’s “Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge” at “Walt Disney World Resort in Florida”.

Either keep sublimated chemistry going, as you write, or put them together and let the relationship develop in the background of the show; I’d be happy with either (with a slight preference for the latter). But I hate when TV couples keep almost getting together then not, or when they get together and break up a bunch

The video is well worth it and held my fascination throughout. The 4+-hour length really makes you feel like you’ve slogged through this overpriced, half-baked “immersive experience” as well.

Love her videos.

I balked at the four hour run time but I watched the video throughout the day on Sunday as I cleaned my house, and it really is worth sticking it out til the end.

One of the many highlights: the hotel rooms, for a thousands of dollars per day experience, did not provide fully-paid Disney+ access.

YES!!!! Mellisa and Jacob becoming roommates was way more interesting than the will-they-won’t-they very forced plot.

I love Abbott, I love Gregory and I love Janine, but I’m a little played out on the Gregory-Janine will they/won’t they. For me, the strength of the show is in the ensemble and how they all play so differently with the challenges of the setting.

Not sure what you mean byhow S2 treated Che Diaz” because Che Diaz was a complete asshole and we’re all glad to see them gone.

You don’t understand, he’s the perfect choice because he had a TV show that ended before most of these students were even born.

“I think it is also wonderful that you care so much about not hurting other people’s feelings in the million and one ways we all do that every second of every day,”
