Chris Evans: You are under no obligation to respond to an unsolicited DM.

Oz will always be the gold standard pilot for me, but GoT was a good one. Did a great job of building that world.

Honestly, I don’t think they could’ve killed him off in a worse way than they did. I thought to kill him from COVID, to use a disease that has killed a half million people, as a plot point, felt crass and calculated, and opportunistic beyond all measure. It felt like one last ditch effort to justify the the expense

God, Debbie truly is a terrible person. Because of her new friend, somebody FIRED A GD SHOTGUN at her car while her kid was in it. But apparently Lip selling the house is the real danger to Frannie in Deb’s eyes? I’m so glad this show is over.

Top 3! And Kandy.

Nike gonna be mad mad when they discover Etsy...

I recently rewatched ‘The Dark Knight’, and even prepared myself to think that nostalgia and hype had done its work on me and I wouldn’t enjoy Ledger’s Joker as much. Nope. It really is a great example of a director and actor absolutely getting a character. The scariness, the gleeful chaos, the unpredictability that

I love how every time someone responds to the Gun Girl they always mention how she shit her pants. It’s going to be on her gravestone.

Sean Giambrone gives such a specific kind of line delivery that Patton never tries to match despite being the adult version.

That take certainly is hot, and probably wrong. But I’m not unsympathetic to it. Conceptually Oz was more ambitious than The Sopranos–I’m not sure if any other show has ever tried to imitate its guerilla-theater aesthetic; Sopranos’ style was more conventional, and lent itself to more imitation. And The Sopranos

“Happy Columbus Day from people who wouldn’t exist if not for the Trans Atlantic Slave trade,”

I’m no psychologist but maybe people shooting other people is bad and we should possibly think about limiting the devices that people use to shoot each other?

They’re gonna drag goddamned Kandy Muse across the finish line even if it kills all of us in the audience.

Considering he drove to separate locations to seek out his victims, their ethnicity was very much not coincidental.

That coincidence was selection—his “sex addiction” targeted who he thought was available and vulnerable because they fit a racist conception of sex. Leaving aside the spin of the perpetrator’s self-description of his motives, (killing people who would be the trafficked victims, except he thinks he’s the victim and

Exactly. I’m glad that this article at least gets that Peter’s strutting scene was *meant* to be cringey. So many complaints about the movie suggest that people thought that Raimi was trying to make him cool and just messed up.

It’s a film nowhere near as good as its predecessors but I’ve never understood the absolute hatred for this one.

Morgan has been publicly bashing Markle for over 5 years. Is that what a nice person does?

“I’m not racist… I don’t care what color or what religion anyone is,” she continued. “Are you a nice person? That’s what I judge you on.”

She seems like a genuinely nice person
