Yeah, I wouldn't really like Claire&Dean ever actually being a thing, but in this episode she was just some motivation for Dean. They never had a scene alone together, she never caught on to it, and it wasn't that important to the plot. It feels overblown here, and I would have given it a higher grade too.

I agree it wouldn't be right for him to actively pursue her when she told him she wasn't interested, but I won't see a problem if, as they start working together and get to know eachother better, perhaps she becomes interested. Meh, I don't think there needs to be rules, I guess. As long as everyone is legal and consenting, it's all good to me.

I don't particularly love Claire being immediately set up as Deans love interest either, but I definitely don't see the age thing as a problem. A 30 year old with a 50 year old just doesn't seem weird to me.
