Wipeout as a game was always kinda average, siding to dodgy at times... but it’s identity and style was outstanding.

I guess punching a producer doesn’t seem so bad now, does it?

The belief system- not fake sounding.
The style- extremely fake sounding. Having known multiple people who do have these extreme values, I still call bullshit.

The thing about the first letter that seems odd to me is that he’d decide to ask Dr. Nerdlove this question. What made him decide to ask the question in such an extraordinarily progressive-leaning, non-religious, sex-positive forum? “I really need an answer to this; I think I’ll go ask the heathens.”

ks takes their cut (5-7% including cc fee)
taxes (as much as 15%)
so now you’re at 80% of total
fulfillment of nongame stuff (5%)
fraud, chargebacks, failed payments (2.5%)
initial marketing staff and assets (7%)
now you’re at 65%
misc shit like legal, rent, etc. (5%)

I would argue Ultimate Spider-Man is a great game, but otherwise, I agree.

Hell no dude. We’ve been due an excellent Spidey game since 2 ;)

Yes.

Sooooo, they are alike in that they are businesses operated under the principles of capitalism by which the acquisition of money is their primary motive? You’re telling me Valve didn’t set up the world’s largest PC gaming store for the pure fun and pleasure of it?

Politely disagree. The whole finale of the Injustice storyline, the final moments of that story, involve Batman (both of them) bringing over the uncorrupted Superman to the Injustice world. Of having the “real” Superman show up and save the day by confronting his corrupted double, and spitting truth and fire at him.

That’s still rub though. The authors of Red Son, of Injustice, of Kingdom Come, of any story where Superman is “off” and try and tell you “this is the correct version of Superman. This is how he SHOULD be. This is right.” The reason those stories work so well is readers inherently know it ISN’T right. It’s about

But even those issues you mentioned explore the notion of “what would happen if we deliberately alter or explore this facet of the character”, with a very clear understanding of what makes Superman “tick” and then deliberately undermining or supporting it.

Michael Bay Syndrome? THey think they need gritty big explosions to make a character interesting.

“Someone has a different opinion” is one way of putting it. Here’s another: A person in a position of power thinks that people with less power should stop acting like victims. This person, who helped create a game called AXE Body Spray Pogo Xtreme, argues that making games is not a job but an art. Therefore, he says,

A Starfox movie made by the Jim Henson Company would be perfect.

Starfox should only be done with puppets, and models for space battles like the original Star Wars trilogy.

*funds the crap out of this

I’m telling you, jetpacks and mechs make everything instantly better. Just give Link a jetpack and turn Epona into a giant mech. See the quality shoot through the roof.

Batman v Superman (or BvS for short) is a beautiful antidote for our addiction to the comical superhero film. It is a bleak, confident take...”

It isn’t confident of nearly anyone in it’s roster, save maybe Wonder Woman—and maybe that’s just because she didn’t get enough actual plot time.

The entire crux of this film

As a DC and Batman fan, I am not associated with those people who claim to be fan and say “This movie is amazing! Marvel idiots just don’t get it!” Also here:
