Did anyone else think “hey I’ve seen this before” when they watched Thor, yah maybe don’t watch MCU trailers anymore. You’ll thank yourself later.

The MCU started a trend with trailers where they just dump the entire film in the trailer so that parents watching with their kids have a full scope of what they’re in for when they buy a ticket. It makes A LOT of sense. Go look at the original trailer for Spider-Man: Homecoming. It featured front to back every major…
I’m going to share my secret:
I haven’t watched a film trailer since roughly around Infinity War.
I didn’t know Black Widow was blonde going into the film.
I didn’t watch the Vol 3 or Thor 4 trailers - loved both (Vol 3 way more)
And I just bought Pokemon Scarlet and I went a whole year without looking at any of the new…
To anyone this isn’t clear to, Samuel L. Jackson is a Black man. Oh I just accidentally summed up this entire article in one sentence.
Other MCU stuff he wasn’t in aside, this is absolutely not about that and entirely about the FOMO he experienced being the most prominent Black actor in the MCU outside of Wakanda yet not being featured in that film which was sorta landmark for the Black community. I bet Samuel L. encounters the phrase “how have you…
Yes but counterpoint: Samuel L. Jackson feels like he missed out on a massive Black moment.
LOL did this really need a write-up? This is probably one of the most obvious talking points about Chris Hemsworth’s career. Is the mandate churning out articles with Hemsworth or Extraction in the title yeesh.
I’m glad there’s a space to discuss this though; I’ve always thought its unfortunate when very naturally…
Let me tell you a myth of a man who once worked here named A.A. Dowd.... he used to know what letter grades meant and he would infamously give out a “C-”. If you were to check the median between A and F that is the letter C. The schooling system has trained our minds to consider “C” as bad because less than half (or…
That second Flash is definitely going to be film-universe Reverse-Flash.
It sounds like he’s terrified of being remembered for this as oppose to his body of work. I could see it sticking, him and weinstein are the faces of #metoo
Prediction: The final Avatar film is going to tell you to weep when Spider finally gets an avatar.
I find it super whiny that the AV Club (and others) are making this out to be such a shitty practise. Netflix ushered in a new era of streaming and so it didn’t have anything to compare itself to in its infancy. The problem arose of people sharing passwords and now they’re retroactively addressing it - THOSE MONSTERS!
What.... there have been tonne of examples? Top Gun Maverick? It’s too early for me to bother to do research to dispute you properly but I call fowl on your claim. No.
How about December and Avatar 2? Like.... your logic is askew.
I caved and made plans to see Guardians for a second time this upcoming weekend. Fuck Volume 3 is good. Best MCU film since Endgame (not afraid to say that).
I can’t totally grasp who this article is for given that anyone interested in this story has probably been following the story since the beginning but...... if you guys need a space to practice re-capping information I already know in a page or less, godspeed.
Oh man this site is just clickbait right now. Between this and the other ridiculous article about the multiverse (that is just a plain stupid write up) I’m like...... it’s just disappointing. I’m having to really compartmentalize my expectations. It’s okay now that Pokemon HOME is open to Scarlet/Violet I’ll just....…
wasn’t that just perfect tho. I love the reverse Archie-Vernonica-Betty non-ending.
Who were those jabronis that wanted Keeley to make a definite choice? (or furthermore Ted and Rebecca *shudders*). To be clear wanting Ted and Rebecca together is akin to shipping Leslie Knope and Ron Swanson.
Or Liz Lemon and Jack to…
I like these characters good and fine but I was okay with three seasons. Some aspects of the show felt like it was spinning its wheels by this point. I loved Breaking Bad calling it quits after 5 seasons maybe it should have even been a tight 4. I don’t understand the desire for shows to run themselves into the…
The only thing that bothered me about the finale was that there were so many little moments that seemed like the producers saving the show for “next season” like Keeley choosing neither, Roy as coach, Rebecca comes back, etc. It actually felt like it robbed the finale of some dramatic stakes.
“what GOTG3 really confirms is that the multiverse—the whole organizing principle behind the still-emergent Marvel Phase Four multi-film story arc—is box office poison.”
Correlation doesn’t equal causation, Ray.
There I just saved you guys reading this dumb article. Because how could a film unrelated to the multiverse…
