They should actually submit this episode for award consideration for Bella Ramsey. That was impeccable.

I think this was my favourite episode. Really friggin cute. Bella Ramsey nailed the bit on the escalator.

I swear only a few days ago I saw an article from the AV Club slamming this show calling it bad. It didn’t know what it was but this article suggests that this is a show about Eugene Levy visiting different locations around the world.

Okay so firstly that sounds delightful and secondly, how on earth could you guys

racist

The temptation with this thing is to ask “who is this for?” but then I remember I’m white and that this is for black people and I need to shut up and think for two seconds.

And just because I have fond nostalgia of the original show doesn’t omit the fact that I’m white and I need to shut-up and think.

That’s just a

Does The A.V. Club moderate anymore? I shit on others and topics on here like ten times a day. I’m the embodiment of “new A.V. Club”. If I’m not in the greys ya’ll are fucked.

Remember how the first Guardians of the Galaxy film was considered “a big risk” at the time? The MCU became so mainstream that the global audience was willing to let them go a bit deeper and weirder with their comic book cuts. But Quantumania was a step too far and too weird for a lot of people. It’s just hilarious to

I still haven’t seen this but I’m getting a lot of amusement out of watching people who have based their identity on the MCU defending this film. On all of these articles there’s always at least one person like “I liked it! etc. etc. etc.”. It’s just so amusing, I’m trying to understand it. Did you love Endgame so

Leading the mafia = strong, is such a boomer take.
“Look how goofy those mobsters are! (resumes raping someone)“

I’m Italian, I’ve heard every mafia stereotype etc... It’s just, I don’t understand why americans have such a cartoonish view of criminal activity. I guess cuz of the Sopranos and the Godfather but like....

I feel like “nerdiest about MCU in friend group” is an extremely loose term. I’ve noticed people younger than me (I’m a millenial) think the Avengers are “gay” based on what I’ve overheard. Generally the people who were in highschool when the first Iron Man film came out (myself) are the core fanbase.

Long story short,

I’m still waiting for that final Bourne team-up film with Damon AND Renner damnit.

Yeah, I thought I heard he had several bones in his leg crushed. An exercise bike???? Well played Hawkeye.

This is a great opportunity to tell a story an acting professor told me years ago. He was openly mocking a guy who auditioned for Shakespeare in the park who submitted headshots of himself holding a book of all of shakespeares work by his face.

He joked that this was suggesting that he had “read all of shakespeares

This is gross. Kudos to Smithline for being the reason people doubt women when they come forward about sexual abuse (sarcasm). Women defending their male abusers is a thing I detest. I tend to roll my eyes at female friends who complain about sexual abuse but stay with their cocaine dealer boyfriend etc. I’ve just

Rpughly the first ten on here are all best until Quantumania. This is a ridiculous article. Anyone who spends more than 30 seconds here after clicking is an idiot.

This article only exists so they can keep talking about Quantumania. I wonder how we’ll be dressing up talking about Quantumania tomorrow.

It’s too bad the AV Club only knows how to dish out an -A for TLOU. I’d love to see some actual criticisms (except the stupid homophobia).

I really like this show so far but I gotta say it. There isn’t quite enough zombie action for me. And it might be all these talky flashback episodes to blame. Which seem more the point of the show and that’s fine I just.... I think last week was all talking zero zombies. Usually they do all talking for the bulk of the

I’ve seen people using “go fuck Jenna Ortega” online as a slur meaning to call someone a pedophile. I’m sorry but she is 20 years old and yes that is young but she is legally an adult and she has a gorgeous face. I don’t know what’s hard to understand about that.

And while I’m here I feel like people need reminding

A movie where they both team up to slay a group of manic pixie dream girls.”
