At Thanksgiving one of my relatives blurted out “Black people get everything now. What about the Whites?”. Stuff like this can be pretty jarring from some people.

I’ve finally given up complaing about “recaps” instead of reviews. It’s not that my opinion has changed. It’s just that I’ve adjusted my expectations for the A.V. Club a lot. I go back as far as the early 2010s. I remember users like Dikachu. I really don’t know why I still visit here. These bastards got me on habit. 

I agree with your criticisms of news sites however it is on you to do more research on a topic you’re going to publicly complain about. It comes across that your too lazy to do further research which signals to people that you are an actual racist defending racists.

The determination to find a reason beyond racism for this coupled with the angry tone of the post. It’s very clear it’s racism.

It’s the same as when dudes who have something to hide tell me they “hate cancel culture”. Yeah okay sure.

I keep seeing this comment “what he should have said was nothing” and I disagree. I’d rather know he’s racist then let him quietly go forward with these beliefs. I would love it if all the racists raised their hand and identified themselves. It would make them easier to ignore.

I’ve noticed in the passed year or so that racist trolls actually hate being called racist. They’ll say something racist, someone calls them a racist and then they get upset and say they’re not racist. I see this so often lately it’s so stupid. We need new words to label these people with because apparently some words…

Oh this is disappointing I guess. I have weirdly strong memories of watching the Dilbert cartoon in my youth. The episode where Dilbert finds his long lost father in a Chinese buffet that he never had to leave ,and his Dad ultimately chooses to stay and he’s like “Tell your mother.... they have pie”.

Back in the hay-day of my youth we had things like Return of the King having three endings. I’ll allow this.

That’s so true. I wonder if Loki will make a cameo asking us to pay for Disney Plus if we want the full story as well. That realization actually pissed my dad off. I saw Loki but these are pretty tall expectations for fans.

I always forget about the circle room they film this show in. I think it’s so cool. Like, I went to theatre school that’s so much more immersive than working with green screens.

That’s me right now with Breath of the Wild. I’m so eager to overcome this hurdle before the sequel drops. I’m so much more into my Metroid Dread sessions.

I’d like the film to do poorly enough so that it goes to Disney Plus as fast as Thor 4 so I can actually see this film (no theatre in my town). So boo Ant-Man! Marvel has too much money for this to matter.
I see this as an absolute win.

Mac Gungan (Scorpion) in the comics has a stint as Venom. It would be such a cool move if the MCU made Michael Mando their Venom in a Tom Holland Spider-Man 4. I want it so badly.

I don’t get how people still can’t accept it as the best of the sequels. I loved it.
