When you’ve chipped away all of your goodwill with poor writing, non-existent research, heaps of obtrusive ads, and awkward preaching about who the handful of idiots who still check in are allowed to like this week . . . wait . . . who was I talking about?

MASH is almost a football movie, and it could have made this list.

I saw that, amazing timing right there.

The best/worst part?  The film came out like a week before Three Mile Island.  What timing, and yeah, its a shame.

Ahh The China Syndrome: One of the reasons we still use fossil fuel power plants instead of the far cleaner and healthier nuclear power plants that we should have built since 1979.  Brilliant!

Aubrey Plaza. When was the last time you saw her in anything?

And what controversy there was, this site was part of trying to gin it up in the first place.

Wow. A comedy show got one of the best stand-up comedians of all-time to host? That is infuriating. Don’t they know to consult with whiny lefty pissbaby bloggers first? Shaking and crying and pissing rn.

Lawyer here. While I don’t practice in this area of law (and I don’t care if someone wastes all of Kanye’s money), but last time I checked, you can’t sue someone for defamation on behalf of a dead person. There may be more exotic torts one could file, like intentional infliction of emotional distress, but I don’t

It’s always so laughable when people like the writers of the New AV Club snidely refer to “so-called” cancel culture. It’s absolutely a real thing, and it’s responsible for the majority of your content. How could anyone be so lacking in self awareness?

Disseminating hyperbolic stories about people passing out during horror movies or posting “doctors” by the auditorium for distressed audiences is an age-old hype technique. And judging by the ages and tweet history of some of these “fans…” this is just another iteration of the same thing.

I dunno, the original is so sexy and charming partly because of those cheesy 60s effects. The movie is a product of its time that doesn’t take itself too seriously, and I think a modern version with a bunch of big-budget CGI will miss out on the fun and trippiness. I also think Jane Fonda is a singularly stunning

That does not look funny.
Life And Beth was really good, though. Should’ve gotten more attention.

They evidently came to the conclusion that Baldwin called (and got no end of shit around here for saying) months ago: that their best chance at a decent settlement was for the movie to proceed and be profitable. One reason there are all those production company credits (sometimes including obnoxious logos and

So Haifa is in Palestine and not in Israel?

Yea I don’t get the whinge here. Actors lose or gain weight for roles all the time and I don’t think at any point she was forced the role. I feel like this is another issue made just to do it.
