Negligent how? You can do this with any color. It’s photoshop.

Every time one of these “green screen memes” stories is posted, someone points out that the color is totally arbitrary. Today that person is me. This can be done with any color. “Melania, what did you think would happen when you appeared on the visible spectrum” would be a more accurate title for this very dumb story.
“Did you catch the part where he subtly turned this toward politics?”
“the general evils of stealing a cheer routine, rather than the specific evil of white cheerleaders stealing a cheer routine from Black people)“
The onscreen persona he created worked great for adolescents and man children like Rob, but what should he have been doing in his 40s and 50s other than the weird stuff he did?
Literally everyone likes, and gets, this movie. So much of our discourse is about how to cater to a completely hypothetical third party. “Well, I get it, and you get it, but what about some third person who doesn’t get Blazing Saddles? What should we do about them?” Nothing, because they don’t exist.
Reality Bites is remarkable in that it has the production of an unambitious rom-com but is an explicitly generational statement. Probably the ideal directorial debut project. Like Girls, it’s people in a room talking about their crushes, but also waving the “This Is Who We Are” flag.
Sorry to see “Radio Man,” the mentally ill mascot of New York film production, get a line of dialogue here. I’m for all kinds of people working in the arts, but the way he is used as a human inside-joke is just not nice.

This Kermit voice is absolutely unacceptable.
People have different skin colors, it’s not that big a deal. Fiddler on the Roof explores matchmaking and arranged marriages and no one has ever worried about what kind of gaze it attracts.
“On the surface, the optics of a white, American man coming into say, Spain, to tell jokes about Spanish culture aren’t great.”
It’s canon that LL is hot enough to be a model in the midwest.
30 Rock isn’t problematic. It’s not offensive to anyone who isn’t actively trying to be offended by it.
I don’t know a single person who doesn’t love this movie.
“At each turn, Krause is faced with tactical thought exercises without easy answers: Should he try to rescue the crew of a burning supply ship or speed off to protect another that’s undefended? Should he risk shutting down a malfunctioning radar for repairs? Should he call for support, knowing that the Germans are…
I loved their coffee in the 90s in New England. The quality has really plummeted. Everything there is tasteless.
Does that solve the problem? Would Theron actually do it, or would she be “heartbroken” that they won’t pay her fee, and it won’t fit into her schedule? Not a knock on Theron, she could be legitimately heartbroken that some other actor gets to play Furiosa, but also have no desire to spend 10 weeks in the desert for…
