@Sandwich: Fair question. Nope. Can't delete it off the desktop like you might your "My Computer" icon. The Time Machine, Hard Drive, and any (I suppose) mounted drives show up as icons. And as far as I know, it's an all-or-nothing deal.

Is it possible to do this with just *one* icon. I'd love to hide the Time Machine drive.

@nka: Try the solution [here] in comment 2. Has to do with new Facebook login notifications. I was also experiencing problems using Adium for Facebook.

@gthing: It is, indeed, because they default Spotlight shortcut is Command+Space.

@Bill Clark: So what I think I'm hearing from you guys is if I want a bigger TV (and don't want to spend too much), then I better either get a bigger monitor with good resolution, or a get a TV, and think twice about hooking up the computer. Yes?

I've been mulling over the idea of getting an HD TV to use as a both a TV and computer Monitor.

@horizonguy: There may be a difference between an HD antenna, and regular old rabbit ears, but we get HD channels over the air with rabbit ears. We're in a second-floor apartment.

If you stop the microwave when there are about 2-3 seconds between each pop, you've got almost a perfect bag.
