No kidding!
Sometimes being made to feel uncomfortable is an avenue to growth.
Also, do you think the same people defending the views of Japanese towards foreigners on the grounds of cultural differences apply the same logic to Americans who dislike foreigners on the grounds of cultural differences?
I somehow bet not.
You know how to spot someone with an irrational hatred of Americans?
They are blaming Americans for the behavior of rowdy rugby fans. LOLOLOL
Assuming the worst in people immediately without trying to understand their intentions and/or context sort of belies the first point.
Ummm... what? No. Obama would be fine and you know it.
So I asked.
The kid definitely doesn’t care about Splinter and is actually kind of mad that you thought to use them as a prop in your shitty argument.
This movie has just as much negative press as positive.
And if you get your coverage from access media type websites (like io9), it’s overwhelmingly negative.
Whoa... Be careful, you don’t want to accidentally have a REAL conversation about the actual Joker film here on io9. That just isn’t their thing on this website. ;)
You would have to have some serious preconceived prejudices and opinions to not see the value or messages in this film. OR... you’re intentionally being disingenuous.

Why would you want to breathe life back into Splinter?!
*looks at screen name
Ah... nevermind. The title fits.
You guys should do an in depth investigation into Tencent.
“How can I turn this event into something that gets me attention?”
Nobody here cages up Africans or shits on our Japanese-American neighbors.
Most people have responsibilities that require a steady income. Like children, for example. These people may end up quitting in the long run due to issues like this. But they should be allowed to find new work before getting hit with criticisms like this.
Company values in general never mean much anyway. It’s the ultimate facade that people buy into.
Does Blizzard work through Tencent in these markets?
This story and your reaction to this guy makes you sound like the bad guy here. God forbid someone look for some connection and fail to land a successfull conversation with you. They probably struggle socially and are stuck in a lonely feedback loop.
My takeaway is that all of the usually shitty people are really invested in hyping this movie...
