That's a good point. That may cut into the 'practicality' of this vehicle. I want to see this idea succeed, but I don't really know if it's going to work.

I think one of them is already at DMAFB. I took this photo last Thursday when I was there.

You're all showing up as pink.

I don't know why, but straight 6 engines do seem to have a reputation for longevity.

Thanks!

Thanks, I sure plan to!

It sure is a great motor. Eventually, I'd like to do a body-off restoration of the whole truck, and I'll probably put new rings and a few other parts in the engine, but for now, it's running strong. It burns (or leaks) a little oil like MrCrash said, but not badly. It's fun to work on, too. Plenty of room in

Thanks, but the photo hides a lot... The rain hides the faded clear coat, the angle of the photo hides the extensive fading paint / rust pattern on the hood, and you can't really see the nasty weld seams over the rear wheel wells. Is this typical condition for its age? Probably. It's a 4x4 with the straight 6

As someone who also owns a pickup, mine in 'rough' condition with the license plate to prove it, I feel your pain, Jason. My truck is probably my favorite vehicle, even though I paid $800 for it and one of these days I'm going to end up putting my leg through the rusty bed.

That's a great story. Thanks for sharing what is obviously a special moment in your relationship. I've got several smaller keys on my keychain for a variety of locks, and I think I'll keep them there just in case.

Not weird. That'd totally be my reaction, too. A proper mindset and optimism are important to surviving a disaster.

That's a hefty mailbox. Well done.

When that man was younger, he likely hooned the family car (Volvo 240, no doubt) in the snow, in the face of his mother's severe displeasure. Today, she's glad he did.

Haha, is there a Fiero stereotype?

A friend of mine has a 944. He farms cattle.

I'm keeping an old 70's Firebird in my backyard for a buddy. He's inner-city-Washington-D.C.-black and his name is Ike. He's a dedicated family man and I haven't seen him in a concert T-shirt.

Wow, well done. Scandinavian Flick and everything.

As much as I'd like a Lego RC plane, I'm afraid it's not possible with the current generation of Lego plastics (too heavy) and Lego power systems (also too heavy and weak). Believe me, I've tried. :(

CP. Nice car, but CP.
