I was excited reading this article until i got to the part about the Toyota Tacoma, and I have to throw a major BS flag at it.

Does it still come with that weak-ass engine? Yes? then Raptor it still is then. Good badge engineering by Toyota on this one, I’m sure more than a couple of people will bite.

Do you want all the downsides of living in L.A. (mind-numbing traffic, smog, crappy overpriced neighborhoods, crime and gangs) without any of the perks (mountains, clean ocean, entertainment, etc)? Then Houston is the city for you!

LMAO I remember getting one of those things at an auto show at least 10 years ago. I’ve been outside of Scion’s ‘target audience’ for a while now, so I had completely forgotten they existed.

HA! Good riddance to a lazy attempt at badge engineering. They should have stuck to the Toyota name all along, instead they wanted to “hip” and “with it” but they didn’t know what “it” was. This was a terrible idea from the get-go, and not to mention the cars sucked (apart from the FR-S).
