Shiiiiiiiiiiittt.

I would think shaking a person with a medical emergency would be the last thing you would want to do.

Hydrogen isn’t going to happen in the U.S. Hydrogen tanks in a moving vehicle are even scarier than a lithium ion battery, hydrogen leaks out of EVERYTHING because the molecules are so small, it’s much easier to deliver electricity to the end user rather than hydrogen, and you still have to go somewhere to fuel up

Agree to disagree, but I always thought the front end on the F-type looked terrible.  Boring and angular, not sculpted like the beautiful rear end.  The new one fits the overall design much better.

Was it Reaganonmics, or technology?  The world got smaller.  We can outsource everything from widgets to physicians now.  I don’t know if that was some evil corporate scheme coming to fruition, or just an inevitable trend towards a more connected global economy.

You would be better off just taking SS contributions and keeping it as cash.

The important thing is, it’s someone else’s fault.

Don’t read too much into the “Ok boomer” thing. It’s largely a way to be trendy while complaining about old people like every generation before has done. Same way “millennial” is almost a slur in some circles.

Im 43. I have a Lotus Evora NA as my annual summer fling and a Lexus GX for everything else. I used to be really into cars and debate them on this site some time ago and so on, and like many I got tired of keeping up. The way is see it, nothing is sacred or protected anymore. If Aston has an SUV, and Ferrari is

I feel the c8 has changed that. Shot across the bow of the dominant German companies in that segment. Kills resale of the older German cars in that range as well

The United States leads the world in the reduction of carbon emissions. The United States could go to zero emissions tomorrow, and it won’t do dick, as China and other large emitters are increasing their emissions with no end in sight.
That’s not to say we can’t continue on our downward trend, but this constant

1.5C temperature CHANGE to is 2.7F, and 3.2C is 5.8F.

That’s the windshield, which has a plastic layer in it to keep it from coming apart. Side windows shatter and fall apart into a bunch of dull edged pieces. That's the "safety" part: you won't cut yourself on the broken glass.

Why are the headlights illegal? Other cars have had continuous light bars across the fronts (Mercury Sable is the first one I can think of). I think they could easily have the *headlights* on either side, and have the center be like DRLs. Rivian’s doing that exact thing.

Yeah, I feel like I’m missing something here. Sure, the windows were damaged, but it doesn’t look like they were breached. Isn’t that how bulletproof glass is supposed to work? Did somebody promise the Cybertruck’s windows would retain their original clarity after getting hit?

Besides not understanding the point of these windows for a normal road vehicle (as opposed to an armored transport for a government official or the like), I don’t see what’s so bad about the demo.  They threw a big old steel ball at the window, and it bounced off.  Wouldn’t that go straight through a normal car window

Funny how it’s arguably the 3rd biggest launch of the year behind the C8 and Supra, yet you’re complaining about a car website writing about it. It’s been two fucking days. Either log off and come back in a week, or deal with it.

For better or worse, Musk has brass balls to try a stunt like that, even if it wasn't a smashing success
