I’m not - I’m deducing his point is that *only* the Right has lunatics who do/say stupid things.

Uh-huh... Meanwhile, Left-wing people are intellectual and saintly. Totes.

Ohio’s nowhere near the south...sorry, yanks, it’s all your’s!

My wife has a 2016 3.  It is far and away nicer inside than previous mazda3s.  She previously had a 2004, I’ve had 07 and 10 speeds.  Hers is much nicer to be.  And I still contend with better wheels and tires (she has the 16s) and a tighter suspension it would out-handle my ‘10.  The chassis is fantastic and the car

If that skyactiv X engine has more torque than the current 2.5L engine, I’d honestly be ok with that engine + manual + AWD. It would be good enough. No hot hatch, but honestly probably not too different than a GTI in terms of fun to drive.

Pfft. Children can’t even drive.

I’ve daily driven a 2nd generation Mazdaspeed3 for 5 years now.  I use it to take my kids to daycare in the mornings, and to flit between locations for my job.  I drive a lot and I wanted a fun and practical car to do it in and Mazda delivered.  I love my Speed3.  I love the big gaping hood scoop and the enormous grin

Welcome to Jalopnik, the link back to The Root is up on the left side of your screen.

My wife said she wouldn’t consider getting a Viper as a 3rd fun car until the kids are in college. I’m now in development of a time machine/growth stimulant so they can get going already.

I think you’ll find, SIR, that the only alternative to letting Mr. Musk do whatever he pleases is doing absolutely nothing at all, forever.

In other words, a bunch of rich land owners impeded progress because construction MIGHT affect them despite being underground and out of sight....

people wanna spend time stuck in traffic and crap.. let them

What’s best for the environment? A tunnel powered by electricity or to let the city be full of traffic that release tons of pollution into the air?

Agreed, 50k for a first gen ACR, or base later model. 60-75k for a second gen ACR. The 3 cars fancy Kristen mentioned are way over priced.

You bought it for the engine...

WAT?! That’s too much. You can still get a Gen I Viper in the high teens and low 20's. Two are listed on cars.com.

Don’t worry about maintenance, they are easy and fairly cheap to work on.  Drivetrains are solid.   Interior sucks though.

Counterpoint: It looks terrible. Every single previous version looked better. Only Mazda styling queue that has missed the mark further was forcing RX8 fenders onto cars they didn’t fit.

Trump’s tax cuts prompted my company to buy 2 brand new vertical cnc’s and 1 horizontal cnc to mate to another horizontal they’ve been waiting to do since 2008. That’ll employ 6-8 more people just to run them. Let alone the people needed for secondary operations and the like. Not to mention the 40 bucks a month extra

“14,0000 loyal GM employees”... Suuuure. “Loyal”. These are the same guys who don’t show up to work because union, and then go on strike when you refuse to pay them $35/hour for unskilled labour.... “Loyal”, what a joke. They only come back because nobody else in their right mind would pay that much for the work they
