Yep, most likely trying to undercut other donation services and trying to legitimise itself more and more as the ‘official’ and better way to support streamers. Basically it’s a cost analysis problem. Similar to the auto industry. If we make part x work as expected for 10 years it costs $10. If we make it to fail in 4 years it costs $3. See Ford Pinto for example.

If your organization is anything like mine, yes, making them work the help desk would be appropriate punishment. Some would consider it cruel and unusual though.

You aren’t wrong... Higher ups get their bonus by reducing costs. They reduce costs by laying off.

That statement is missing a couple instances of ‘innovative’, ‘disrupt’, and ‘engagement’, but with a few tweaks I think that kid will be ready for his SXSW speech.

There are two major issues I had with it.
