Well stop searching for Bieber sex tapes, and then everyone will have more fucking internets to share with eachother.

I cannot beleive Google dont let you import mail from another gmail account. Even if it meant deleting all the mail in the old account to save them disk space. While Whitson's imap solution will definately work, having to move over 8000 emails is such a pain, as would be having to go through them all to work out which

O man that sucks that American networks can charge you even for just having someone call you. I visit the US from the UK almost once a year, and roam around europe as well, and i never get charged for that, only if i answer the call.

Way, same birthday as me! But im 21, not 8. Still, happy birthday giz! i guess i was 2 years later to the party, but still has been a great read for 6 years!

This would be very useful if it could be powered over USB. I know lots of student who like to work in the dark from laptop, and this could be the perfect companion for lighting their books while the work.

@TSmith: I already said to D.Lyte, that many of the modern players allow for easy importing of all this stuff, so it never seemed like you had to re make any playlists. It imports everything. I think it even grabs some data like rating and play counts.

The UK has a large divide because these networks that are on the cheap end offer large discounts when you pay for a larger GB band. Their one off 10GB thanks that is all packages are all about the same. Its only when you enter the 15GB/month that the price/GB really starts to become cheap. And i think you have to do a

@gemcosta: It's because the countries in the top there, with the exception of the Netherlands all have competition on the cost of the data. If, like in the USA, there is only 1 provider, they can bend you any which way they like, and you only have two choices, take it or leave it. The other countries have somewhere

@D.LYTE: Yeh totally fair enough. I just re-read the thread, got confused with people saying WTF why would i want itunes.

@D.LYTE: Im pretty sure most new players can import all that from itunes, with just one click. Migrating is not hard at all

@Hearthatvoiceagain: I think the carriers would want to charge you for said upgrade. You are basically getting a close to new phone with all these updates. Heck, Apple charge for the same thing on the Touch.

@njso18: Its built into Sense, not Android. Android doesn't support 720p yet, but HTC have built support into the Sense UI. Moto have done that with their UI that is over the Droid X.

@TSmith: See above, your songs can be in any music player

@D.LYTE: Em, your songs are not in itunes. Itunes just loads all the songs from any pointed directory. Your music could equally be in Win Amp, WMP or DoubleTwist.

@webdevmike: The 720p comes with Sense UI. You will have to wait until Google adds 720p to the features of Android. 3.0 i would assume, so hopefully end of the year!

@Nassin: There is nothing stopping you from putting in any GSM sim card, and getting the phone shipped. There are probably even some sellers in the states that do that for you.

Woo, with Vodafone's stellar reputation of never upgrading the firmware on their locked phones, i really hope the break the trend with this. Some of the stuff in this update could easily make it a "new" phone. I hope they, and all the other providers, as i imagine the majority have been sold on a contract, to start

I thought the magic mouse already did this with multi touch powers, and it was still a mouse? Am i missing the revolutionary thing this is doing?

I never had any problem mixing DDR2 RAM speeds on my old box. I got a 512 stick from a friend, he had it lying around, and his motherboard didnt like mixing DIMM's, so i rammed it in mine. The mobo automatically underclocked it, as i expected, but it played happily ever after.

Edit, i failed epically. I though i was commenting in whitenoise. Oops
