I had zero opinion of her hanging with friends, however “staged” it might have been or looked. But the fremdschämen I experienced when I saw Tom Hiddleston in *that* tank top... And I felt bad to even have that reaction. They’re none of my business and so what if they were madly in love or under contract. But I

Same. I lived in France briefly, and it’s like the American accent was some kind of homing beacon for shitty dudes, especially while crammed onto train platforms or cafes.

The fun for me will be watching to see if this is gets the usual “religion of peace, huh?” and “Sweden is overrun with Muslim refugees that don’t know how to treat women properly!” comments.

DUMBASS, ARE YOU REALLY TRYING TO BLAME THIS ON MUSLIM REFUGEES OR SWEDISH MUSLIMS?

Maybe I’m weird but I’m more disgusted by paparazzi stalking and photographing random old people minding their own, than by the above IG pics on a waterslide.

Chambers’s interview reads as a salient and too often unspoken critique of the way capitalism has poisoned the fashion industry

No, it’s four rapes. “Sexual assault” isn’t rape, at least not in Sweden. For example, two cases are from two women reporting that one of the guards searching visitors touched them too intimately. Bad, if true, but not rape.

four rape and 23 sexual assault reports

So she’s only EIGHT years older than I?! But she seems so OLD! (She doesn’t look old, but she seems old, if that makes any sense.) I guess being around since you were 12-ish can do that!

Yeah, its not the “fun” a lot of people (self included) had issues with, it was the over-the-top staging PR machine that her world had become. Read as if everything was done for the ‘Gram, not for the love of fun or #Merica. I don’t for a second doubt that she is still having fun, we just don’t have evidence of it

Dude here. Agree.

It’s stressful to agree with both of you on this.

Are you telling me she sang that Titanic song when she was only 29? Get the fuck out of here!

Hmm I see your point but I’m inclined to believe that last year’s festivities were 95% professional photoshoot and 5% actual fun. Everything was SO staged. I bet there were contracts.

I’m glad he read it because

Me on the Celine Dion post:

As a polyam person, I really hate the term throuple.

I’m more concerned about the effect on women. I don’t see how we can prevent this kind of marriage from turning into “traditional” polygamy in which women are subservient to a resource-controlling “head of household.”

Yeah, on a personal level I’m perfectly okay with it. But, trying to make it legal would definitely be a giant logistical legal nightmare. Though I’ve heard it is hard for people graduating law school to find jobs, so maybe this would be a great way to increase that job market.

When Mormon women are allowed to marry more than one man, and not handed out like 10-years-of-employment rewards, they can get back to me.
