LOL!
THE STRUGGLE IS REAL ~~~~ ZOM!
I get leg pimples after my leg hair gets to a certain length. Maybe 3 weeks of not shaving? I’m really pale, so each little pimple causes a red ring about the size of a dime. I look like I have some kind of weird disease WebMD would diagnose you with.
Living with a teenager really changes one’s tolerance for online teenagers LOL
YOur post summarizes my entire views on marriage, including my own marriage!
I grew up around women who didn’t wear it due to religious reasons (no one pierced their ears, either). It has really shaped my outlook on makeup being a meh whatevs issue.
Fair enough. I really do see make up as a feminist neutral issue, though I feel like I’m way in the minority.
Aren’t you adorable?
I was being charitable, I know.
I’m really cranky this morning LOL
But but but shaving cuts way down on all of those tiny little pimples I get. Laziness to not look after my leg pimples?
I didn’t get why people made such a fuss about Adichie doing that campaign. First, she’s gorgeous. Second, most of the feminists I know wear make up. Hell, I sometimes wear makeup, mostly because I’m interested in looking slightly different than usual.
I have zero proof for what I’m about to say. Some of the “triggered” comments, I think, are youngin’s thinking about other people. Like, they themselves aren’t the ones triggered, but they are trying so hard to be good allies that they are just spouting off at everyone for any slight thing.
If I wanted to talk to nutty teenagers, I’d talk to my kids’ friends...
I’ve always wondered: if I’m just too lazy to shave, is this a feminism victory? Or am I just a fucking lazy slob? I’m fine with either, really. I’ve just always wondered...
I love the fanart of Tumblr, so I try to stick around those things as much as possible. Beyond that, though, I find Tumblr a very scary public look inside someone’s high school journal and I have no interest in that whatsoever.
The jaded, apathetic youngin’s these days are going to rival anything us Gen Xs can put out for cynicism.
An acquaintance of mine constantly posts sexy photos of herself with these “this is what a feminist looks like” captions - to the point I just unfollowed her. I don’t give a shit what a feminist looks like, but shoving your tits together for a camera doesn’t make me feel empowered chickadee. Happy for you, though.…
Why do we need to argue semantics?
Well, it was on Twitter, so basically a sitcom :p
