“Baffling” only describes this episode if it doesn’t fit into the show you thought you were watching, as opposed to the show that its creators have actually been making.

Definitely. It seemed pretty clear from the first moment, and in that pointed dialogue about Ji-ah joining her on the date with the nerdy guy who also liked Judy Garland. “Friends of Dorothy,” indeed.

Did anyone else feel that Young-ja was in love with Ji-ah, and that part of her speech about it being okay to be different was not about her being communist, but about her being a lesbian? The way she touched Ji-ah seemed quite revealing to me.

It’s a credit to the actress for how vile and thoroughly unpleasant Stormfront is. Every word that comes out of her mouth and every smirk make me want to see her being murdered in the most brutal way possible.

However, I am not always a fan of them throwing in things people would never say or do just to be gross or edgelordy. Butcher can find a synonym for “C*nt” because it’s getting boring

Solid write-up except for this one observation:

That was one of the least sexy sex scenes I’ve ever watched. Very fitting for such repulsive characters.

He was lapping it up.

He drank Stormfront’s Kool-Aid

She’s the worst.

Billy’s aunt is Batgirl, LOL.

JC and the Sky Daddies are my favorite psychedelic funk cover band.

And yeah, I’m hoping it’s a clue. Just seems too blunt to, like, be thrown in accidentally.

When does Hunter get to die? Hes been aggressively useless and trouble causing the whole time. If Tempest doesnt kill him before its all said and done I will be very disappointed. Not because she would harbor resentment over his comments of “shes lucky” for her rape but because Mother/Father wont because of the

Is it 30 or 13? I’ll have to go back and see. I guess the Ark was huge, so they could have lost any other people they Sim-friended, but you’d think after either of those time frames, they’d be better about at least pretending to be acolytes.....or already inculcated about the nonsense.   You’re right that they’d have

That “Next Episode Begins in 20 seconds” message after watching this was the best thing to happen to me yesterday.

I see a lot of scope to explore, develop ideas, and delve into different stuff.
Good production values, strong casting and performances, plot and pacing are on key.

I don’t catch much TV sci fi anymore as it’s so disappointing, but I’ll keep watching RBW.. potentially a few seasons of quality TV there. a little wierd

“The characterization of Montrose demands we hold our sympathy for him as a traumatized possibly queer (as implied by Tree) Black man in the 1950s in tension with our disgust and dis-ease with his horrific act of violence against Yahima.”

“Gimme the news, doc.”
