Reminds me of this artist’s stories of the mountain men and mountain Orcs.

I love that he said Batman: Arkham’s supervillains were a big influence. In that 16 minute gameplay video released the other day, at one point we meet a “trickster” orc that has a very Joker vibe to him.

Tolkien’s stance on orcs was rather, mmm, incomplete. For example, whether or not they actually are corrupted elves is unclear. Basically he needed them for storytelling but no origin he could think of sat right with him.

Since everyone in the game is purely driven by hate you can figure the hatesex would be AMAZING.
