I still find it unbelieveble that anyone would cancel a big project like that so far into development. What is it for investors to add a little more money to at least save some of what was previously invested?

Platinum does two things it makes quick licensed games for a pay cheque like TMNT or The Legend of Korra (remember that...) and they also make some of the best action games ever made. Like Bayonetta, Metal Gear Rising, and now hopefully Nier.

Platinum has an A team and Z team, most of their “let’s shit this out to make money” is the Z team.

I demand more local multiplayer. There aren’t nearly enough games with couch co-op.

If it’s true, that sucks because despite not looking that good to me (nothing really grabbed me, except the aesthetic) it’s a Platinum game directed by Hideki Kamiya. The guy knows a thing or two about making great games. I had faith it could work out in the end =/
