I think what it mainly comes down to is that the emulation community is so much more open.  You have tons of people from around the world freely collaborating and making their discoveries open to everyone else.  For anyone with an interest in improving some aspect of emulation, there’s a community and resources to

I‘m both surprised and excited this game turned out well. I hope it does well for them, and shows that people prefer a strong single player, contained story over games as service bullshit...

I think the only “official MCU” game we’re gonna get is something like the one they did with The Void VR - that one was official MCU, had the real voice actors and likenesses and all that.

The N64 is a PITA to emulate accurately as well. Sure, *most* games don’t care, but Factor 5's stuff, and some other notable games (Jet Force Gemini and Body Harvest are two notable ones) more or less require low level emulation, which until about a year ago even high end PCs couldn’t handle at full speed. Now that we

Wait, has John Walker himself promoted video game and anime sneakers? Or are you talking about advertisements made on kotaku? As far as I know the writing staff doesn’t have a say in what’s advertised.

It wasn’t worth it for $20 a year lol.

Honestly, I get the convenience factor and the...possible...multiplayer, but building a Retropie is only $50, is pretty easy, and will last you years

Man. I was on the fence about getting this expansion pack, but seeing all these issues, I’m out. N64 has always been weird to emulate, but I hoped Nintendo would be able to figure out their own damn product, especially for the price they expect us to pay for it.

The N64 holds a lot of good memories for me, but I knew the control issues would be a pain in the ass when they put these games on Switch. I was considering getting the expansion back, but for now I’m just going to wait and see if Nintendo fixes any of this shit. If they do, I’ll reconsider getting it.

Not quite. That story happened in universe. “Trouble” was always of dubious canonicity. I think they quickly tried to frame it as a “see, wasn’t this a fun Easter egg????” while Millar wanted it to always be canon.

The plot in this one is heavily based on Halo Wars 2 ending. They're definitely going to sweep a lot of 4 and 5's story under the rug, for good reason

Well Rocket does have a crack legal team on retainer...

I haven’t played Halo since 3.  Really eager to check this one out.  If you’re a fan of the series, based on this teaser where do I need to go in terms of back catalog to be up to speed for Infinite?  Just Halo 5?  (was there a halo 5?)

Nope I’m out. I mean I’ll try it. I won’t play for long. Well, maybe.’

I actually hope Olivia and John made it work, and then add a third named Newton.

Total AILF.

A remaster or Chinatown Wars would be good; a very underrated GTA that had some fun minigames using the DS stylus.

All I know is I never finished that game, and I can’t for the life of me think of a reason why.  Then again I’ve never finished any of the gta games.  I guess there’s the reason right in front of me.

CTW was great and I would like a version for the Switch.
