I get that King and Kubrick had artistic differences, but I can’t believe that the grudge over it resulted in the Shining miniseries.

Kaley Cuoco acted the shit out of the Flight Attendant, so even though I think this show looks a little flimsy, I’m going to give her a shot.

I think they have tried to make these shows, it’s just a total crap shoot of what does and doesn’t take off.

Most cartoons have a rough pilot, if not entire first season, but Futurama really hit the ground running.

It’s a stupid as balls movie, but Crews is one of those “huge guy” actors who picked up a few more tricks than the others, this is all face acting BABAY!

Edit - I was a bit wrong, he credits Adam Sandler with getting his start. But I think he’s also praised this movie for helping out.

Still, love me some Crews.

I think this was a decent finale for an otherwise rocky season. I think there are a few things overall that I would have pulled (the psychic) and a few things I would have liked to see more of (Dr Sharon, onscreen development) but the last few episodes had a bit more going for them than the first half.

Terry Crews isn’t the type who seems like he would trash talk his own work, but I think that he sees that movie as one that really helped to launch his career.

I’ll try and find the interview, but I think (citation needed) that he’s said it opened up the doors for him to do comedy work.

We watched 101 Dalmations recently, it’s absolutely driven by Glenn Close.

For those who don’t remember, Roger is no longer a music composer but is now a video game designer.

She was absolutely stunning as Baloo.

If the 101 Dalmations remake is that high up, it’s not a good sign for everything beneath it.

Isn’t there a trans woman you should be running away from somewhere?

I’ve also missed Dr. Sharon, she kept the thread of season 2 together.

Maybe they realized she solved too many problems?

It’s crazy to me that Konami never bothered to settle an image rights issue, and that the entire franchise has just been absent from digital marketplaces.

Cautiously optimistic? The trailer seemed a little “bleh”.

It’s just that amount of money, that gets smaller until I die.

Patti Harrison had some of my favorite bits, so hopefully we see more of her.

We’ve made some progress, but I feel like the popular directors now are the same ones that existed 20 years ago.

The business has absolutely changed of course, I don’t think younger directors are being “Cultivated” the way that they once were.

There sure was a lot of emotional hugging going on in this one.

I liked Dottie, but had we set up or established that she was a source of frustration with Ted and his own mental health before this?

The show has made two giant plot leaps with Nate, his quitting West Ham and the team forgiving him for what he did.

Jamie

It was a clear case of a show that should have ended one or two years earlier but it was a certified money train at that point.

I think a lot of people hung on for two bad seasons due to the premise and the pay off wasn’t worth it.

Really though, the last two or more seasons were pretty bad. Ted Mosby went from someone you kind of hoped would find love to an awful person, and the writers thought that their characters needed catch-phrases.
