It’s a dumb “gimme back my daughter” vehicle, so maybe she doesn’t have to excel at it this time.

And those two notable performances were ones that more or less highlight how attractive she is.

She’s a manufactured star. She might have been a decent dancer 30+ years ago, but she’s never been a good singer or actor, but hey, here we are. She’s famous, she won.

I think the Series S was a clever idea. I think that Microsoft typically does OK in the hardware department. They’ve just stumbled so much with their games lately.

I watched part of one of the streams, and I can say the only thing that was revealed was that this must have been the first video game the streamer has ever played.

I’m somewhat surprised by the sales of the newest Xbox Gen, due to the much lower cost of entry, but I’m not surprised that the console that has the games that people want is the one doing well.

I will never not be pissed that Tony Hawk 3+4 was cancelled because the studio was devoured. 

The indie scene is great but I think it can be real hit and miss. Not every game is going to be a Stardew Valley or Among Us.

It’s not the worst thing, to want more of the characters in a given show, and I imagine the show’s troubled production didn’t help the writers bring out the best in some of the characters.

I think they dropped the ball on both Britta and Shirley.

I personally love GI Jeff, and that it informs the season 6 joke:

It kind of seems like they’re looking for something between that and Parks and Rec. It’s OK as a background show, but I want it to be just a little bit more. 

I’m hoping Animal Control gets better. There are a few shows out right now that seem to have the right idea but their writers aren’t don’t seem interested in their own characters. 

The last two seasons of Community are definitely interesting. The fifth season didn’t have as many laughs, but it really cracked me up where it succeeded, and the sixth season felt more like a different show, almost like an indie film.

Better than the fourth season in many ways, but I still think seasons 2 and 3 are…

I would have said Odyssey’s issue is the sheer amount of moons that are available around the end game.

Jumped 100 times? Here’s a moon. Saw a dog? Have five moons. 

I think this episode would have felt a lot better if we didn’t know this was the show’s last season.

Also, this has been a problem for a while now, but everyone on the show has become a bit homogenized. I don’t really see a reason why Rebecca should be familiar with the works of Kenny Rogers.

I’ve noticed that the games I’ve liked most in the last few years just take well established game elements and build on top of them. Games like Celeste, Shovel Knight and Stardew.
